My self-summary
I'm a happy healthy native Californian. I love the outdoors as much as I love living in the city. Weekends are for adventures and I rarely stay in town, there are too many mountains, beaches and forests to stay put. I'm a wildlife biologist, which means I spend a lot of time catching critters around the bay area. I'm into all sports, and would be just as happy going to a hockey game as I would be going for a hike. You would probably like spending time with me if you enjoy a few of these things: outdoor shenanigans (backpacking, snowboarding, river trips, climbing, hot springs), going to sporting events, cooking whatever the hell is left in the cupboard/fridge into something fantastic, drinking good whiskey, going to rock/punk/electronic/etc etc shows (I have eclectic music needs), and exploring new bars and restaurants across the city (ok everyone enjoys this no shit).
I am open to a broad range of personalities, lifestyles, political beliefs, etc. just as long as you are interesting.
What I’m doing with my life
Professional Critter Catcher and Environmental Consultant
I’m really good at
Bragging about how good I am at stuff. I also speak Mumblese fluently
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything by Vonnegut, Rushdie, Pinchon, Marquez, Irving, Stephenson, and have recently been trying to get into some Murakami, but the guy's a tripper
Movies: I like em but don't really have favorites. Anything Cohen Brothers or Tarantino
Shows: Game of Thrones, Tosh.o, South Park, Walking Dead, The Wire, Family Guy, Boardwalk Empire, Archer, whodunnit crime shows, Jeopardy (One day I'll be go on and win a boatload of cash)
Music: The best band in the world is Murder by Death. Go listen to them right now. I like most any and all, but favorites include NOFX, Bad Religion, Tool, Radiohead, a variety of local djs and sound artists, Devil Makes Three, Yonder Mt, murder by death, whiskey rock, bluegrass and blues and blues rock, most music from the 60's and early 70's, and many more
Food: Yes please, hands down the best part of living in SF
The six things I could never do without
Binoculars, sleeping bag, food, water, a book, and footwear...I'm sorry I've been missing the point of this question since elementary school.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's for dinner, and why I'm using internet dating (oh wait its because I work a lot and spend the rest of the time hanging out with my awesome but narrow base of friends).
What I should do this weekend besides sleep past 5:30am
On a typical Friday night I am
Either driving to Tahoe/Yosemite/Humboldt/Santa Cruz, or going out to get dinner and drinks with friends. Or sleeping.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate baseball, and especially the Giants. There I said it. You can burn me at the stake. But I'll still go to games at At&t just for the experience. Especially if the Dodgers are in town.
And Journey is terrible, stop playing it at every bar in SF. They sucked before the people cared about the Giants, and they suck even more when every drunkard in the city starts singing it
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–30
  • Near me
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to hang out with someone who isn't a fixy riding Hipster, Marina brah-bag, or techie start-up egomaniac. You think it's not weird at all that I can ID most birds, trees, and wildflowers in California from memory. And if you like sipping excellent whiskey on a cold night with stars instead of city lights occasionally.
AND YOU LIVE IN SF!!! Sorry I don't go across the pond for dates, waaaayyyyy too far
