I'm a hugely cerebral person - so I'm in my head a lot. So are a lot of my reactions, reasons, and close ties. If you've got a lot going on in your head chances are I'd love to talk.
I am just about the biggest Sherlock Holmes nerd on the face of the earth. I have all the books, special editions, movies, comics, trivia etc. at my fingertips if not in my possession directly. And I love it. I'd like to work in law enforcement, preferably as a private investigator or criminal profiler someday - maybe follow in the great detective's footsteps a little.
I was born with an Eidetic memory, commonly referred to as a photographic memory. Sometimes it comes in handy.
I love to be outside and active. I take my health pretty seriously in that I like to take care of my body - eat well, exercise and try not to get it cut in half. That being said I push my self a lot and am very accident prone - so I'm really handy with bandages.
My catch phrase it "It's an adventure!". I love adventuring, however mundane or extreme and I love to travel. I've visited 5 countries, lived in 5 different houses and 3 different countries this past year alone. Now I'm looking to stay put for a while, sort of to see what it's like; sort of because I missed Canada.
I am fluent in English (2 dialects) and French (4 dialects); and currently studying German, Arabic, Korean, Japanese, Italian and trying to finish up Canadian and American sign language. Languages are my hobby - their origin, patterns, semantics and influences - so I tend to look into them a lot.
I love going to the movies, hiking, walking, adventuring, playing my violin, reading and being creative. I also love taking photos and photography in general. I am a Star Trek fan, but also like Star Wars. I also enjoy other nerdy pastimes like Doctor Who, pub quizzes, Stephen Hawking lectures, being unable to run, taking my inhaler and forgetting where I put my glasses.
I might wear cardigans a little too much.
