My self-summary Propose an edit

Me? Umm..lets' see, 24 years old, native Vermonter. No longer single, but still here for the tests, and to make friends. I have my own apartment, my own car, and a full-time job. I like to travel, but lack the means for any real trips, unfortunately. I love to explore, and lately have been satiating that hunger through cooking (pun intended). I make up my own recipes as I go along, or just switch some ingredients in pre-written recipes to add my own twist.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I currently work as a product inspector for a bearing manufacturing plant. Not very interesting or fun, but it pays the bills. I had attended a university to get my degree in Digital Arts, but took a small break to study on my own that...well, lasted longer than I had intended...yea, we'll go with that. I'd like to go back to school some day, but for now, I just take life as it comes.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

I'm pretty resourceful and inventive. I can come up with solutions to problems that seem unusual, but if they work, that's what's important. Right?

I'm pretty handy with computers, too. I'm not "Geek Squad" smart, but I can install my own hardware, and troubleshoot most problems I encounter myself.

I don't know, I wear my hat everywhere, people are most likely to comment on that if anything. If I'm not wearing my hat, than probably my hair. Once it gets a bit longer, it tends to curl and everyone seems to like it.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books: I like the "Dresden Files" series of books. They have a unique twist involving wizards, werewolves, modern-day Chicago and detective work. Currently reading "Dead Beat".

Movies: I like a lot of movies. I'm up for anything horror, sci-fi, or suspense, usually. But sometimes drama or romance movies are nice for a change of tempo. Being the geek that I am, I enjoy anime, too, but not the vulgar/obscene stuff. Most of what I watch is allowable on TV.

Music: "Coldplay". My favorite band since I first heard "Trouble" so many years ago. I also like "Falling Up"(Hence the name 'Exit Calyspan', great song.), "Rammstein" (even though I have no clue what they're saying), and "Flyleaf", to name a few.

Food: Hmm..not sure what my favorite food is, really. I'm the type of person who'll try the strangest thing on the menu (if it's not too pricey). I love going out for sushi and staying in for pizza.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

People in my life- past, present and, being the dreamer that I am, future. I think a lot about what I would change about my life if I had the opportunity, which mostly involves nice cars, big houses and people to fill them with.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Unfortunately, working, since I'm on second shift. But if not for that I'd rather be out at a movie, or the local bistro enjoying live music with friends. If I'm alone, I'd more than likely be home spending quality time with my computer. But lately it's spending time with my girlfriend.

I'm shy. I really am. Once I get to know a person, I'm fine, but it's hard to meet new folks when I'm too reserved to start a conversation.

That, and I'm a a bit of a slob. Now, my place isn't horrible, but it could stand a quick once over and a good vacuuming, which I've been trying to convince myself to do for the past few weeks...
