I am dorky, fascinated, and magnanimous.
My Self-Summary
I get really excited over seemingly small, inconsequential things.
For instance a
squirrel jumped on my leg at the zoo
this last January. It was on there for like 13 seconds! Or, I like
being the one who runs the garbage disposal. Especially when there
is some major blockage going on. It's satisfying how the water just
sits there and then you flip a switch and the water flows down the
drain. When I do this my mental voice is alot like baby Plucky
Duck. "Watch the water go down the hole! Watch the water go down
again."
I tend to have silly moments and I tend to have serious moments and
I do really well at combining these two traits into a stellar
personality. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a call center and troubleshoot with people about their
electronic gaming equipment for this company out of Redmond, WA.
Feel free to ask me which company but we're not allowed to post
about it on a public venue. In May I moved to Capitol hill. Life is
pretty much consisting of hanging out with friends.
Maybe I'll try to find a ceramics studio to work in or a choir I
can join in the near future. I think either fields could be a lot
of fun to get back into. Plans and thoughts are flowing towards
going back to college before the end of the year.
I’m really good at
I give good hug. At least the people I'm giving them to tell me so
and they are pretty reliable sources. I vouch for them. I'm also
really good at whistling. Like stellar at it. I learned how to
whistle when I was an older kid and was so proud when I finally had
learned how to do it that I practiced pretty much every day from
then on.
The first things people usually notice about me
Don't believe everything you read in the papers but I heard
Exoplanetary... I heard he is sometimes funny. Sometimes awkward.
But everyone agrees that it isn't long before he's smiling 'bout
something.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Recently my favorite author has been Neil Gaiman. Just finished
American Gods. Totally dug it's concepts. Over time Octavia E.
Butler has written quite a few of my favorites like Wild Seed and
Lilith's brood.
I once worked at a movie theatre. - The Cell, Chocolat, Death to
Smoochy, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Flight of the
Navigator, The Game, The Green Mile, Lady in the Water and,
Pleasantville.
I like music. -
Belle and Sebastian, Daft
Punk, My Bloody Valentine, KT Tunstall, Imogen Heap, Johny Cash,
Gorillaz, Cake, MGMT,
Flobots, Fiona Apple, Death Cab for
Cutie, Weezer,
Animal Collective, and Panda
Bear.
I can't seem to get enough
sushi. Feed it to me raw. Feed it to me on
a naked boy (feel free to volunteer.) If I had to make a choice I
would choose water and sushi as my food options for the rest of my
days.
I have this gorgeous painting by my friend,
leopardart, who gave it to me just before
his translocation to Venezuela. You can see it in his profile pics.
It's the one with a large field of verdant green filled with
abstracted red people.
The six things I could never do without
Goosebumps, starshine, weekends, inner monologue, a problem, my box
o' handtools/power tools
I spend a lot of time thinking about
You know it's a real shame that people don't live longer. Only so
that we could have more time to learn and experience more. I mean
we'll never be able to experience what I feel is the full gambit of
what Earth has to offer and that just stinks.
On a typical Friday night I am
Laughing. Winking. Whistling. Walking. Dancing. Drinking. Dining.
Trying to make people laugh. Hanging with friends. Friday night or
at least my days off are usually spent at one of my friend's
houses.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My best scars aren't exactly in places I'd be showing my friends.
Well friends who aren't comfortable with nudity. Let's just say
that Dean from the Venture bros isn't the only one to have suffered
Testicular torsion.
You should message me if
This section is here so that I can give you a few examples of why
you should message me, right? Well okay... If I messaged you then
you should definitely message me. Why? Because despite the fact
that many people list that they are looking for friends here when
they really are only looking for a date or the next guy to take to
bed I really am looking for either a date or a possible new friend.
Here's the funny thing about online dating... When you meet someone
in person you have a chance to study that person's body language.
You see the way their eyes are looking at you when they say that
they like your taste in music. Or maybe that the way they say that
they like the wine you brought means they're really hoping for a
kiss. There are so many reasons like this. What are the profiles
for? Getting your attention. Then you message until you're
comfortable enough to meet in real life. Meeting in real life is
really where you start figuring out if that person is what you're
looking for. In both a friend or a boyfriend. I'm just sayin'. So
guys? Message me if you want to meet an interesting, funny guy.
Your instincts when we meet and hang out are gonna be what really
tells you where you wanna go from there. A friend? Awesome. A
second date? Sweetness.
