Your Notes
Edit your notesI am spiritual, intricate, and nonchalant.
My Self-Summary
"Don't be surprised when you find that blood is Nature's tear; for, sooner or later, you'll realize that Nature's blood is clear."
Okay, I guess it's about time that I skip the pretense and explain myself a bit.
I tend to consider myself a spiritual Wiccan, yet it is merely how I choose to flavor my perspective. It just makes life a little more meaningful and a little less dull. Sometimes it's nice to notice the potential interconnectedness of all things.
Other than that, I'm just a normal guy who likes to hang out with friends, occasionally go out dancing, write poetry, play games with friends (cards, video games, board games, etc.), read books, mess around on my bass guitar, hike through a park on nice days, and ponder the world. Okay, maybe that doesn't really make me a "normal guy," but that goes into the philosophical question of "normal" where we probably don't want to go right now. I feel normal, so I think it's best to leave it at that.
Those seeking further information about me can always read my LiveJournal. If such a journal is deemed too personal, just refer to my info page.

I most appreciate intelligent conversation and inspiring words. These days it is becoming all too common to find increasingly little of both.
As of late, I've recently found myself single again, so I'm just looking to get to know people and form friendships. I'll need some time before I'm anywhere near "dating space" again.
What I’m doing with my life
I also do free astrology charts and interpretations for fun in my spare time, should someone be interested. Just let me know.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
Or it could be that I have a variation of the typical computer-geek/guitarist look: particularly the long hair, usually tied back.
Also, I may live in Indiana, but I tend to despise Country Music, "Classic" Rock, and watching sports. Of course, this is not entirely inclusive. More likely, it's just some of the lifestyles they seem to perpetuate...
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman; Burning Chrome by William Gibson
(I also tend to enjoy reading software manuals, astrology books, and random philosophy books, particularly Plato, Descartes, and some Nietzsche.)
Movies:
The Crow, Sin City, The Order, The Lord of the Rings, Serenity, MirrorMask, Advent Children, The Illusionist, The Prestige
Music (not in any particular order):
Dream Theater, Evanescence, Enigma, Endless Blue, VNV Nation, The Last Dance, The Cure, BT, Everclear, Loreena McKennitt, Ani DiFranco, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, NIN, From Autumn To Ashes, Armor For Sleep, Finch, Senses Fail, Death Cab For Cutie, Dashboard Confessional
Food:
Sushi, Greek, Indian, and fresh strawberries :)
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Always searching for a greater understanding of the world around me, I constantly like to ask why. I could easily imply something profound here, but it's really just curiosity.
I find the sociological implications posed by a site such as OkCupid to be quite fascinating yet disturbing. It just shows how truly fickle attraction is and how completely independent of compatibility it remains.
...or it could just be my flawed perspective...
On a typical Friday night I am
Other nights of the week, I might be found at the local goth club or a punk show, for I do enjoy both dancing and moshing, respectively.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Oh, I also really love Scrabble.
