My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love to explore, go on adventures and experience new things.

I'm currently trying to live life more intensely and with less care and thought than I have since I was a teenager and its proving to be a lot of fun so far.

I have a degree in film which may sound lame but it was great and I have learned a lot about the world and myself through that and the fields of theory it introduced to me.

I'm a searcher, looking for something more than simply being alive. I want to experience and share as much as I can with the people I know and love and the people I am yet to meet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to figure out what to do after entering the void of "real life" that welcomed me after years of being at college and university. It's all so pointless from now on they tell me, I'm trying my best to prove them wrong.

I've just started a course called 'one year in transition' in which I am learning how to create resilience to climate change in local communities and about social entrepreneurship. I am hoping to start a community forest garden with an emphasis on gardening, education and adventure.

My dream is to move to France, build an eco-home and a forest garden surrounding it, open an education centre that teaches people about permaculture in the week and sell produce at market on saturday mornings. Eventually I would erect tipi's and other alternative housing and offer raw vegan detox holiday retreats to people.

I play rugby for my local team.

If I can grow a decent beard before I die, I'll die a very happy man.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening to others and providing advice or an opinion.

Skipping.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes or my funny walk. Probably my funny walk.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I have a soft spot for the beat American writers and most things that came after. A favourite is Hunter S. Thompson.
I stumbled on a book called Growth of the Soil (Knut Hamsun) a few years ago and has become a strange favourite. I also like to read dystopian/political sci-fi novels like those of Aldous Huxley and Yevgeny Zamyatin and love the work of Rene Daumal, namely A Night of Serious Drinking.

I like to read non-fiction and have an interest in Anarchism, Absurdism and Situationism. Life changing book - The Revolution of Everyday Life by Raoul Vaneigem (great man).

My taste in films varies with my mood and state of mind (which is forever changing). I like a variety of art-house/existential films, sci-fi and everything in between and either side. Some favourite filmmakers are Lynch, Kubrick, Akerman, Tarkovsky, Kusturica, Fassbinder, Linklater, Jodorowsky, Herzog, Gilliam and Bunuel.

I love music just as much as film if not more. I like a variety of genres including rock, folk, reggae, dub, and electronica. Some of my favourite artists are The Doors, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Kinks, Bob Marley and the Wailers, King Tubby, Augustus Pablo, Groundation, Boards of Canada, Nightmares on Wax, Lemon Jelly, Explosions in the Sky, Red Sparowes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, The Tallest Man on Earth, Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains, The Black Lips, The Black Keys etc etc.

I have been vegetarian for three 1/2 years and since then have become quite a decent chef. I like to cook curries, risotto, chilli, Mexican food, Tagines and loads of nice flavorsome food.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to change the World and myself, my next adventure, and where all the interesting girls are and why they don't live locally (I hope to find some here)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends, in watching a film or writing, or walking.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
