I am ambitious, artistic, and a little weird.

My Self-Summary

I'm just going to get this out of the way now, I am a complete and utter geek. I love Comic Books, Reading, Graphic Design, Film (especially B-Horror), Macs, Music, Tattoos (I have 11 and counting), Video Games, Good Bourbon, Paranormal Investigation.

I'm looking for a cute girl roughly between the ages 24 and 30 (give or take) who shares some of the same interests as me. I love a girl with tattoos, though they're not required. I like intelligent girls, you don't have to be a genius but I like someone who can keep up. I think that about covers it.

I met one of my best friends on here in lmleona, here's hoping lightning strikes twice.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a comic book writer and artist for several different series. I also run a tiny comic book publisher. On top of that I'm a freelance graphic artist and web designer. And to actually pay my bills I work part time at a guitar store.

I’m really good at

Mostly artsy kinda stuff like drawing, painting, playing guitar, etc. I'm pretty good with computers as well.

The first things people usually notice about me

My height, my beard, or my tattoos.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Comics: Hellboy, Fear Agent, The Goon, The Walking Dead, Watchmen, The Dylan Dog Case Files, Batman, Sin City, 300, Joe Loves Crappy Movies, Questionable Content, Girls with Slingshots, B.P.R.D., Lobster Johnson, Tales from the Crypt (pretty much anything by EC), The Helm, 30 Days of Night, Conan, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac... this list could go on forever.

Books: Anything by H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, or J.R.R. Tolkien, Baltimore or the Steadfast Tin Soldier & the Vampire, I Am Legend, Futureproof, The Ten Cent Plague, Survivor, Fight Club, Invisible Monsters, Diary, Battle Royale, I Robot, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Zombie Survival Guide... another list that could never end.

Movies: The Dark Knight, Star Wars, The Matrix, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Evil Dead, Let the Right One In, The Proposition, Halloween (1978), Dawn of the Dead (1978), A Nightmare on Elm Street, Ghostbusters, Pulp Fiction, Lock Stock & Two Smokin' Barrels, Snatch, Reservoir Dogs, Inglourious Basterds, Watchmen, Sin City, Hellboy II... you get the point.

Music: The Knockdown, Lemuria, The Exit Strategy, The Science Logic, Armcannon, Ghost Tales, The Gunshy, Andrew Bryant, The Failures' Union, Jena Berlin, Hezekiah Jones, Joe Pugg, KM Radio, Between Walls, Slingshot Dakota, Fences Make Good Neighbors, Lucero, The Ergs, Bomb the Music Industry, Latterman, Bridge & Tunnel, The Decemberists, Get Him Eat Him, The Rabies, Gym Class Heroes, Ratatat, Snowman, Pavement, Iron & Wine, The Arcade Fire, The Pixies, Nick Cave & the Badseeds, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Against Me!, Ghost Mice, Snapcase, Metric, Cold War Kids, Arctic Monkeys, Elliott Smith, The Get Up Kids, Death Cab for Cutie, Flogging Molly, CCR, Tom Petty, Brand New, Tegan & Sarah, Gorillaz, Daft Punk... too much to list it all.

The six things I could never do without

1.) Pencil
2.) Paper
3.) My Mac
4.) A good book
5.) My friends
6.) My mind (though sometimes I wonder...)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything... I am borderline neurotic at times.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends for a drink or out at the movies.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am extremely self-deprecating... as you will discover five minutes into any conversation with me.

You should message me if

Any of these thoughts seem relatively coherent to you.
