Friendly, sociable outdoor type of guy. Typical Virgo, creative, artistic, good listener. An avid mine-explorer, love getting underground and exploring the history of these places. Similarly keen on underground photography-capturing the sights and scenes hidden in the darkness. Most adventurous thing i've ever done is spend a year backpacking around Australia-loved it.

IDEAL MATCH:
Good sense of humour, outgoing and generally outdoorsie kind of person. Ideally keen or willing to try out underground exploration-always a bonus! Friendly and approachable and as happy enjoying nice relaxed evening in snuggled on the sofa watching DVD, as night out with friends or clubbing.

Currently in final stages of writing a PhD thesis-just corrections and additions to go and then I'm officially a Dr! Also in course of developing career as consultant, working with former employer in geotechncial role, and as GIS engineer. Socially I'm trying to expand and improve my networks-as most of my uni friends have moved away, married etc

art-drawing/sketching, watercolour etc, being friend/ear for those closest to me when they need it-frequently act as agony aunt! cooking-or at least I'd like to think so! Giving hugs-or so I'm told!
