My self-summary
I think the rest of my profile does a fine job summarizing me so I'll keep this short.

I love music and going to live shows. I've done some travelling but would love to do a LOT more. There's a lot to see in this country alone and then there's a few hundred other countries out there too. I'm kind and friendly and I have a really un-aggressive personality. I'm perfectly content with taking things easy usually.

I like confetti and pinatas. Does anybody know how to do a tilde over an N?
What I’m doing with my life
Making maps. It's an okay job. I get paid for it and there are some nice perks like I can go in and leave almost whenever I want to. I've been there three years and now I'm trying to find some work in a national park like Yellowstone. That'd be so sweet.
Riding my bike through the streets, jamming with people on the weekends (even though I don't love that term), looking for tennis partners, reading one book every 8 months or so.
I’m really good at
Parallel Parking. I've gone out of my way to help people parallel park. I thrive on it.
I was decent at tennis in high school and I was able to win 6 points off of one of the best players in the state. Yup.
I can do the three curl thing with my tongue.
Ping-pong.
Making sure people don't feel left out of conversations.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
David Sedaris, Hunter S Thompson, Carl Sagan. I'm right now reading The Denial of Death and it's pretty heavy. I read more non-fiction than novels. I like them but I more often end up reading non-fiction even though they take FOR. EVVV. ERRR.
I love good comedy, especially dark comedy. The Office (older US and british), Arrested Development, Louie, Freaks and Geeks, Breaking Bad, Homeland. American Beauty, Groundhog Day, In Bruges, Hot Rod.
Music: Anywhere from metal to pop, very little hip hop or country. Opeth, Agalloch, Metallica, Gojira, Mastodon, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Rush, Russian Circles, Simon and Garfunkel, Cults, Neko Case, A lot of other stuff.
Sandwiches, Thai, shrimp, sushi, beer, Thanksgiving stuffing, thumbs up!
The six things I could never do without
Family and friends
Internet
my brain, for thinking
Some tasty beverage
Podcasts to help pass a few hours at my job
Change of seasons
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I have no idea how facebook works anymore. That sounds like an old-man-dude bashing on facebook cuz he thinks it's cool.
But I'm preeetty serious.
On a typical Friday night I am
I LOVE going to live shows. Or I'm playing music at a friend's, hanging out somewhere, or riding my bike.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a weird last name. I kind of forget it's weird until I have to actually say it when I introduce myself though.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–28
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to go on a long-term date or a short-term date.
You want to do some things around St Louis that you haven't done before...I've done most of the basic stuff but there's plenty I haven't seen/done around here.
Or if you are anything like Lindsey Weir.
