I am single and looking to meet single men in my local area. My goal is to eventually find a serious, long term relationship. Not interested in a 'long distance' relationship though.

I am a mom so my kids are a part of me and my life, we are a package. I do expect a positive male role model in any man I bring into 'our' lives. If you don't like kids then I'm sorry, I'm not your girl. If you have kids that is great but I do not plan on having more of my own.

I have been out of the dating life for some time now, by choice, but I am looking to change that. I can be a difficult person at times but I am working on myself so I can give the best I can to any potential relationships that may come along. I can't promise perfection but I can promise effort.

I grew up between a small island in the Bahamas and Key West. I love the ocean, the beach, swimming, fishing, snorkeling, diving and boating. I love Seafood, Conch being my absolute favorite!! But seafood is not the same if it's not fresh....and that's hard to find here. Yes, I'm spoiled....I know :-)

Working full time and with kids schedules its hard but I have been trying to get out to meet new people, make new friends.

I want to do more traveling, see different places, different cultures, learn new things.

Making friends, giving advice, listening. I'm a pretty good cook when I set my mind to it.

My body of course!! I'm a BBW.....deal with it!! :-)

Books....I like a lot of different types. Mostly fantasy.
Movies....I'm partial to Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Action but I like other types as well. Not too keen on thrillers/horror.
Shows.....um like TV? Well let's see, my DVR is currently set for Revolution, Once Upon A Time, Grimm, Revenge and The Mentalist...I may have forgotten a few. I also like Bones and NCIS.
Music...pretty much anything but techno.
Food....pretty open here as well.....no raw meat or raw seafood, except Conch.

My mind is constantly active....thinking about all kinds of stuff.

This just depends on my mood. I'd be fine with hanging out having dinner/drinks but just as content at home watching movies.

I like the smell of jet fuel. I know not really a private thing but my private life will not be plastered on here :-)
