My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Programming, reading, watching, translating, drawing, hiking, singing... whenever I have the time and mental strength. It's amazing how the right company can boost both.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing, and I keep getting better.

I also write well, prose and rhyming too, although for the most part I abuse songs in Hebrew and English by translating from one to the other, thus gaining confidence to write bits of my own.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Around new people? That I'm nice and awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Orson Scott Card, Geoffrey Archer, John Steinbeck, George Orwell, Ayn Rand, David Grossman, Meir Shalev, ... any book that can tell a good story and isn't too short to get absorbed in (although Etgar Keret is a genius).

Movies: anything masterfully hand-animated (Golden Age Disney) or Pixar-crafted. Otherwise, anything that can keep my mind intrigued, amused, or inspired.

Music: I adore soundtracks, especially of musicals, especially by Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Hercules, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame - all his work). I also like the songs from Rent, Wicked, and Avenue Q.
I like music that has a good melody, and songs that tell a story. Aya Korem, Danny Sanderson, Katie Melua.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A pencil and a piece of blank paper.
My glasses.
Some space to call my own.
Humor with a shred of sarcasm.
Someone to dream about.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, the Universe, and Everything.

...And going over songs I like in my head, trying my best not to massacre them by way of translation. Often unsuccessfully.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
home, spending quality time with my family, or seeing you, if you're available (see what I did there?).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Growing up with younger siblings, I watched too many hours of Disney shows in Hebrew, to the point where lines and catch phrases were imprinted in my mind. Now I blurt these phrases out freely, sometimes without memory of their exact origin.
