My self-summary
Intelligent, eclectic, passionate, enthusiastic.
The unabridged version follows.

Hi! I'm Brian. Here's some stuff to read:

- My sense of humor is best described as sarcastic and witty, though I can find humor in anything (except Carlos Mencia. Or Jeff Dunham).
- Caffeine no longer has any effect on me. I find this to be terribly inconvenient.
- I enjoy watching sports (Pens and Steelers), though I'm not obsessive about it.
- Dancing and singing are not among my top skills. This does not stop me from enthusiastically engaging in either.
- My house probably contains more movies/music/books/tv series/games (board and video)/etc... than one person ought to have.

I'm also down to earth and easy-going, which really makes me one-of-a-kind on OKC.
What I’m doing with my life
Making my house awesome. Teaching myself to play guitar (among other instruments). Buying cool things I probably don't need. Going to concerts. Watching hockey. Waiting (no longer!) for good weather so I can ride my motorcycle. Hanging out with friends. Playing disc golf. Eating burritos. Failing to see movies that everyone says I need to see. Pretending to understand photography. Singing loudly in my car with the windows down. Cooking up crazy concoctions of items I happen to have on hand. Learning new things. Typing gerund phrases.
I’m really good at
- staying up way too late browsing the internet.
- cooking breakfast.
- learning the words to really fast rap songs.
- Smash Brothers.
- hanging things on walls.
- telling stories.
- burning the roof of my mouth with pizza.
- parallel parking.
- computery things.
- carrying all groceries from my car to my kitchen in one trip, regardless of quantity.
- mixing white russians.
- juggling.
- opening jars.
- eating pickles out of said jars.
- Cards Against Humanity. (Ask me about it)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: Generally, I'll listen to anything that isn't Nickelback or mainstream/pop country. If you'd prefer a more specific answer, The Decemberists and Foo Fighters are at the top of my list, though I'm always on the lookout for good up and coming or lesser known bands.

TV: Arrested Development, The Venture Brothers, Futurama, Community, Firefly, Adventure Time, Archer, 30 Rock, Twin Peaks, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Buffy, Always Sunny, Regular Show, Family Guy, Parks & Rec. You know, the good stuff that everyone likes.

Movies: Fight Club, Pan's Labyrinth, Fear and Loathing, Mulholland Dr., Moonrise Kingdom. And probably like 200 others.

Books: Gaiman, Lovecraft, Palahniuk, Vonnegut, and Alan Moore are all thoroughly enjoyable. Recently finished House of Leaves (good, but probably the most tedious read ever, especially if you've got OCD tendencies), and I'm currently about halfway through The God Delusion.

Food-wise, I'll eat basically anything. I love Mexican, Japanese and Mediterranean. The only thing I can really think of at the moment that I don't like: olives. Not a fan. The green ones are particularly distasteful. ... Oh! Also sweet/b&b pickles. They're worse than olives, by a large margin.
The six things I could never do without
Music
Sunlight
Board Games
The internet
Tea
Sushi
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- how it must feel to be offended by something, since I'm apparently incapable of it.
- what my next tattoo will be.
- the baffling existence of Kidz Bop albums.
- why people are terrible at driving.
- what would happen if David Lynch and Wes Anderson made a movie together.
- the continued inexplicable airing of commercials for ringtones and wallpapers from Jamster.
- whether I want soup or salad with dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
doing something with my friends, including, but not limited to: enjoying food/or and drinks, probably around Lawrenceville; throwing frisbees into metal baskets; sitting around a fire; playing video/board games; partaking in a movie; going to see whichever of my favorite bands happens to be in town
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes, I sing along to dubstep. The parts without words.
... WUB WUB WUB WUB

My cat and I carry on long, engaging conversations. Constantly. I'm absolutely convinced that he understands everything I say.
