joined CDC 3 years ago after 20 years at EPA. i had a great run at EPA, but needed a change. the only other thing i could see myself doing is teaching kindergarten.
i'm governed by strong, non-religious convictions, can't sleep w/out a fan on, despise liars, am fiercely pro-israel, ran a marathon, abhor 90% of the Liberal agenda, don't believe everything happens for a reason, ski every march, am best friends w/ a straight guy, collect currier and ives prints, am okay w/ losing, have a famous younger sibling, enjoy tarrantino films despite my distaste for gratuitous violence, and am fascinated by the power of redemption. my biggest flaw is giving the benefit of the doubt to those least deserving.
adventure travel is a passion. past jaunts have taken me from sydney to st. petersburg, hong kong to helsinki, amsterdam to amman. most recently, a buddy and i spent a month backpacking thru japan, vietnam, cambodia, and disappointing thailand.
i'm blessed to have been in love twice, particularly when there are good people who live out their entire lives and never truly taste it. the 2 relationships were high functioning and incredibly gratifying. i'm still close friends w/ both men.
looking for the proverbial boy next door. someone who is naturally masculine, well mannered and monogamous, isn't into the scene, leads a healthy lifestyle, follows current events, and has clean fingernails and nice teeth. a guy who's an active listener, can be fully present, and is capable of communicating on the hard stuff rather than walking out on an otherwise promising relationship.
