I am pretty excited about this year 2013 because I expect a lot of good changes to happen that I have been working and waiting for a long time...(that's as optimistic as I get). Therefore writing a self-summary appears to be a bit futile. It is also the reason for a certain lack of initiative on my side at the moment ... hard to advertise yourself if you do not know exactly what will happen in the foreseeable future....What I can write is the insight that I tried to take the direct way but that it turned out to be or developed into "the scenic route". And that I sometimes feel that I neither succeed nor fail.

Besides that I could write quite a lot of useful information - but I choose to not incriminate myself any further :-).

By "french (okay)" I want to communicate that I am able to read it, maybe write or speak it but still have big problems to understand it when it occurs in spoken version (and not just when it is spoken by louis de funes :-)). (Addition: my french is improving, right now I begin to understand the french audio channel of ARTE)

Waiting for the university to process my Master Thesis so I can finally call myself "Jack of many trades, Master of one", learning french

don't really like books ... are either boring or so thrilling I have to read them non-stop (messes with my time-schedule) ... but I like stories (and comparing how a good movies differs from the book it was adapted from) ... lately I have been reading Maigret by Simeon in french for the purpose of "exercise".

Movies: all genres except horror/slasher , favourite: adventure, spy , 80's & 90's action

Come to think of it, a list of SIX THINGS I COULD ALWAYS DO WITHOUT would probably be much more informative (people who drive, construct, sell or buy SUV's, Snow, Cold, the damned "Radwegbenutzungspflicht", big cities, people who think that being boring is a bad thing).
