Haven't updated this in awhile....I've been stationed at Camp Lejeune for about a year now. So far so good.

Well, I'm a Marine, like everyone else around here. It's pretty cool, but not much going on social wise, so that's why I'm on here. Not really to thrilled about the whole online dating thing, but thought I'd give it a try.

Good conversation, AFVID, stuff relevant to my job, deep conversation, long walks on the beach, etc. If you're really curious, ask me.

Books: Hunt for Red October, World War Z, Just getting into Game of Thrones = epic, LOTR, Jennifer Morgue, anything by James Rollins, various non-fiction, Robopacalypse, various sci-fi, thrillers.

Movies: Top Gun, Casablanca, Zulu, Starship Troopers, The Mummy, Men in Black, Zorro, Tropic Thunder, Predator, Total Recall

Shows: South Park, Colbert Report, National Geographic Channel, History Channel, BBC News. I don't really get to watch TV all that much since I'm so busy.

Music: Oldies, Hip-Hop, Gangsta Rap, 80s Hair Metal. Also club music.

Food: Chick-Fil-A, Mexican Food, Chinese, pretty much anything

Time to sleep and time to work out.

What I'm going to do at work in the next year or two. How we're going to work this or that training plan. Also, how I can get a masters degree out of Uncle Sam. How I can get out of here.

Taking it easy at home, maybe going out and hanging at the local bars. Once in a blue moon I'll head down to Wilmington, which is pretty fun, something I'd like to do more of this year.

I just spent an hour listening to Thrift Shop. DOPE.

You're interested, and you can carry on a decent conversation that doesn't revolve around reality TV. Also, if you do, don't expect to do the whole weird online conversation thing in lieu of meeting in person...it's just weird. Yeah, I'll message back and forth but I'd rather meet up for coffee, dinner or drinks. That's what we're on here for, right?
