Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Relatively new to Boston (about a year now), moved here after
finishing grad school. I'm the guy that will organize a party on a
whim, and find the best festivals in summer and cool ski sites in
winter. I like going out as much as staying in, cooking together a
great dinner with good wine and watching a movie.
I'm physically active and enjoy playing soccer, volleyball and
cross country navigating (although haven't done that since my
military years in Israel).
Pretty tired from trying to meet people in the bar scene, and have
heard great stories about this website.
BTW - am not a FOB anymore but alas, OKC does not allow name
changes...also, recovering from multiple injuries so trying to get
back in shape. Any help in patiently running with me would be +10
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Originally a pharmacist and a bartender, so I like mixing stuff and
making people happy while doing so.
Recently finished my MBA, and moved up here from Philly for a new
job in Biotech strategy. Am liking Boston more than I expected.
Also, am actively involved in soccer and volleyball leagues, and
will be joining some kickball too, but always looking for more
interesting activities :-)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Discovering places through walking, quoting movies at, well, almost
always, holding my liquor, naming tunes by first notes, people
watching and so much more...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My accent, and later my silly one liners and my lack of tact
My accent makes for a fun bar game, I think less than 25% of people
can guess where I'm from based on just my looks and my
Also, almost everyone has mentioned that I defy stereotypes.

Movies: Requim for a dream, the princess bride, snatch, pulp
fiction, from dusk till dawn, the goonies, coming to America
(basically all of Eddie Murphy's earlier films), Hot Fuzz and lots
of British stand up shows
Music: Most things, but mild dislike for country and heavy
Books: I would be here all night if I started this...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to fit everything into 24 hours during my weekends, the best
way to fulfill my dreams.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
No typical night, but more likely out than in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I may or may not have used my pop culture knowledge from Bruce
Willis movies to pass an interview leading to my current job :-)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You would date yourself.
You believe that you are among the first to come to mind when guys
ask your friends if they have a cute, funny interesting friend to
introduce them to.
You have your shit together and are at least somewhat career-driven
- independence is sexy!
You have an open mind, are interesting in meeting new and
interesting people and well, if you feel an urge to ;-)
I prefer dog people over cat people - being very allergic to cats
tends to cause this preference...
I also prefer to meet someone that has at least a general sense to
where their life is heading...
But other than I'd be happy just to meet interesting people, so
message me, the worst that could happen is an interesting
