Hi, I'm John. I moved out to LA a little over 3 years ago, and I absolutely love it. I was born in Georgia, grew up in Louisiana, finished high school in Alabama, went to college in Florida twice (go Noles!), and moved here from the Washington, D.C. area (Arlington, Virginia), so I guess you could call me a southern boy. Although I don't really have much of an accent, I will call you 'darlin', it's just in my genes. Being from the south, I try always to be a gentleman, and though I'm not religious, the golden rule is always a good rule.

Music is my biggest passion. I have been playing guitar for 20+ years, and I started with the piano and the violin before that. Any chance I get to play for people makes me extremely happy. I was in a band for 4 years back east, and I definitely miss it. I also love watching movies, particularly classic films. Opening Day of baseball makes me super happy, as does any time I'm able to spend time with my family/friends who live back east.

I have recently discovered Jason Reitman's live-read series at LACMA, and I never want to miss another one......so much damn fun!

I went to school for audio engineering and moved to LA to get into post-production. It's been a long and arduous hunt, and still nothing permanent. In the meantime, I'm a waiter and supervisor at a restaurant in DTLA.
