My self-summary
"I want a soul mate who can sit me down, shut me up, tell me ten things I don’t already know, and make me laugh. I don’t care what you look like, just turn me on. And if you can do that, I will follow you on bloody stumps through the snow. I will nibble your mukluks with my own teeth. I will do your windows. I will care about your feelings. Just have something in there." - Henry Rollins

I've probably viewed your profile a hundred times and can't figure out how to start a conversation. Yeah, I suck.

I don't necessarily know what I want right now, but I am looking to get to know someone and see what happens.

My profile is a bit outdated and lengthy; I've been meaning to update it and trim the fat for a while. That being said, I recommend learning about me via conversation. You know, the "old-fashioned" way.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm not currently working or going to school... yet. My living situation is sort of in limbo so to speak, which leaves me unsure as to where I should be looking for said work or schooling.

When I do enroll, though, it will most likely be something media-related. Music and film are both huge passions of mine and they're industries I would love to work in.
I’m really good at
I'm good at being intelligent. I've got lots of "book smarts" and I know plenty of random trivia.

I'm also good at writing of all sorts. I love writing fiction and music. On that note, I should add that rap is the genre under which that music would fall. If you are one of those people who think rap isn't music then move on because we most likely won't get along. Lyricism is lyricism no matter how it's delivered.

I have never given a back and neck massage that didn't result in satisfaction so I guess that's something.

Oh, and making lists. I have obsessive-compulsive tendencies so I tend to like things organized, symmetrical, notated, and the like. You'll see that in my "books, movies, shows, music, food" section. If you're into guys who like making lists then it's your lucky day!
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically, my eyes. Other than that, I honestly don't know. You tell me!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Note: I warned you ahead of time but this section goes into a LOT of detail. If you're not interested in my extensive lists then skip this!

Food
Not sure why this is lumped in the other four but okay... Food is a passion of mine, I like a lot of different kinds but I do tend to shy away from most foreign dishes. Cooking is something I love to do, tweaking an entree to make it just right is a great feeling to me. Maybe I can cook for you sometime!
The six things I could never do without
This is my original, boring response to this prompt:
1. Music.
2. Netflix.
3. Mary Jane.
4. Sunlight.
5. A human companion.
6. Water would be nice, I suppose.

However, after reading a lot of girls' profiles and seeing some far more interesting answers, I decided I'd switch mine up.
1. Friendship and companionship: Maybe just a handful of close friends. However it's arranged, I want at least one partner (romantic or otherwise) to keep me company and make good conversation.
2. Art: In general. If I had to be more specific it would certainly be music, but life without the many vast varieties of beautiful art would definitely be more dismal.
3. Nature: Again, I took one of my boring answered and broadened it to encompass a bit more. The plants, weather, and animals are spectacular to me and it would be a shame if I couldn't enjoy them anymore.
4. Intelligence and sanity: I don't think it's being selfish to wish that I would always have these two things.
5. Food: I've always been curious as to whether or not I could survive the hunter-gatherer lifestyle, but I'm not too proud to admit that I would definitely suffer without some of my grocery store favorites.
6. Love: This sort of runs parallel to number one, but spending the rest of my life alone would definitely be pretty awful. It would certainly be nice to have a lover.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When I'm going to get my shit together.

Why this profile is so long and keeps getting longer like an overgrowing plant.

Who I'm going to one day marry and generate offspring with.

What I'm going to write about after I finally write about what I currently want to write about.

Where I would go if I could up and leave the boring life I've thus far lived.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, as I write this it is a Friday night, so I guess that's my answer embarrassingly enough!

Nearly every weekend I try and fail to make plans with friends so lately I've been doing a lot of things on my own. The people I hang out with are unreliable so I'm often stuck going it alone. Maybe this is where you come in?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Why not ask me yourself? I'm an open book for the most part.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–36
  • Near me
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
Well, it seems very rare for women to send the first message so perhaps this section should be "Why you should reply to MY message" haha. I'm sure my profile isn't particularly exciting but, really, how much can you get out of these simple essays? Don't ever judge a book by its cover, you should at least read the synopsis.
