My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m always search for the good and the bad in everything, and then laughing about it. There is so much ridiculousness out there and, really, life is too short to do anything else.

I delight in solving problems both professional and personal and I’m always confident that if I don’t know the answer right away that I can figure it out. So if you’ve got a pressing problem send it my way!

Nature is neat and I’ve been to the tops of mountains and the bottom of the sea, but I’m not a huge fan of museums and art galleries or as I would say “just stuff”. Although the right partner can make any trip enjoyable.

I hope to hear from you soon, but between now and then have a delightful day!

TLDR Version: This is an accurate representation of what goes on inside my head.

PS: INTJ because all the cool kids are doing it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as an Instructional Designer for a business consulting firm and as a researcher at the University of Pittsburgh. The former is contract work designing and developing cool kids training materials, E-learning stuff, etc. for various clients, and I even get to stay home all day and play with my cat while I work (i.e. the dream). The ladder is basically teaching computers (and other humans) how to read and interpret human emotion (facial expressions to be precise). This affords me many a neat opportunity such as working with Google and Pixar (hence the picture with all the shiny dots on my face). I enjoy both jobs and the people I work with so I have no plans of changing things up any time soon.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning new things. It is my passion, hobby, and job after all.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books- The Count of Monte Cristo, Speaker for the Dead, Snowcrash, Flowers for Algernon, Freakanomics, What If, The Graveyard Book, World War Z, The Lucifer Effect, A Song of Fire and Ice

TV- I don’t watch much TV these days, but when I do I enjoy House of Cards, Firefly, Chopped, or anything with a good plot and likable characters (the same goes for books).

Movies- DISNEY/PIXAR MOVIES, Shawshank Redemption, Phantom of the Opera, Office Space, Falling Down, most of the Marvel/DC movies, Miyazaki films, etc.

Music- Basically anything from the 80s and 90s is my jam.

Food- Protein, dairy, and carbs all day every day. I won’t eat salads on principle. That said, I’ll give almost anything a shot, but if one or more of my five senses is telling me, “DO NOT EAT THAT!” I’m going to listen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever topic I’m currently developing training on. At the moment that’s fixed index annuities (Jealous? I’d be.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably working, I’m a night owl.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I ever got a tattoo it would be an angel on my right shoulder and a devil on my left.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
My thoughts on relationships were best summarized by the renowned expert on life, the universe and everything, Dr. Seuss when he said, "We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love."

If you agree and you think we’d make excellent partners in crime then say hello.
