I am eclectic, unique, and an enigma.
My Self-Summary
I'm never quite sure what I should write here as I'm constantly
discovering new things about myself and so I am forever evolving.
Life is full of experiences that we sometimes miss, because we were
just too scared to open our minds and embrace them. My family's
motto is "Live to Live.", I think we need to do more of that.
I am very open to different things and ideas and very accepting of
people and their differences. I think that is what makes life
interesting and how we all learn.
I am a purple-haired
pagan poly. I've been pagan for almost 6
yrs, and
poly for
almost 3 yrs. I am also a
vegan.
Since they asked me to list three words to describe myself, I
thought I would also give you a list of words used by my friends
and teachers to describe me :(in no particular order)
Unique; honest; happy; friendly; intelligent; helpful;
environmentalist; feminist; unusual; crazy; different;
knowledgable; loving; caring; quiet; peaceful; dedicated; sweet;
hippie; witchy; courageous; adventureous; loving; colorful; dark;
mysterious; odd; brave; artistic; spontaneous; beautiful soul;
ancient soul (my son); passionate; fierce; bookworm

What I’m doing with my life
I am studying to get my Associate's Degree before I go to get my
Doctorate in
Psychology. I really enjoy helping
others, and trying to make the world a better place for my children
to live in. It is important for them to realize that everything and
everyone is connected, and that we are responsible for showing
respect to all. I see myself reflected in their eyes, and I want
them to grow up knowing that they can make a difference. I'm just
trying to become the person that keeps trying to come out, the one
with the peaceful soul. I want to live my life to the fullest. I
also spend part of my day doing
yoga and
meditation, which I enjoy.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at crafts, especially beadwork. Although, thanks to
the suggestion of a good friend I have recently started painting
too. I am a great baker, especially breads, but have been told that
my Choco-Walnut Cookies (non-vegan version) are the best in the
world so when I make them I usally end making about 20 dozen
because everyone wants some. I love trying new recipes, and have
turned several old favorites into vegan versions. I do exceptional
work with my hands. There are others things that I excel at, but
those will just have to wait till I get to know you better.
The first things people usually notice about me
Easy answer, my purple hair. I get more compliments on it then you
would believe, and it's fun to watch little kids' faces when they
see it. Next is usually my eyes (one is blue, and one is green).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books, hmm, anything that can empower me with
knowledge. I am constantly
reading something.
Favorite movies would include Labyrinth; Pan's Labyrinth;
Practical Magic;
Rocky Horror Picture Show; The 13th Warrior;
Secetary; and
P.S.I Love You.
Music would have to be
Nightwish;
Blackmore's Night; anything
Celtic; Three Doors Down; Nickleback; Metallica; Garth Brooks;
Meatloaf; Abba; Stevie Nicks; and anything else in-between,
especially if it has a good beat to it.
My favorite foods are anything hot and spicy, and I have a weakness
for Dagoba chocolate bars.
The six things I could never do without
1. My Children
2. Hope
3. Love
4. Music
5. Books
6. Sex
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The list is way to long to post on here. Let's just say inside my
mind, behind every corner lies a surprise! ;)
On a typical Friday night I am
Your guess is as good as mine. I never know what I'll be doing till
it happens. But that is the way I like it, I enjoy being
spontaneous and living every moment to the fullest.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
The knowledge that we must all learn our own personal meanings of
life is well known, but my own meaning of life is "LIVE!!!".
Okay, okay. I know you were hoping for something a little more
private than that. I like to dance naked in the rain sometimes.
There, are you happy?
You should message me if
I have no preconceived notions about who I'm looking for, they
always seem to find me when the time is right for them to be in my
life. Life is too short and you'll miss out on meeting some
wonderful people if you limit yourself. I love meeting new people,
and there is nothing like that exchange of energy that occurs when
you meet those special friends that you've felt you've known
forever. One never knows where their path is going to lead, so one
should always try to make friends along the way. If you are
open-minded and think you might enjoy the walk along my scenic
route, please feel free to message me.
