My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let me be as up-front about this as possible: I am not an exciting person. I may have a lot of good qualities, I'm loyal, steadfast, trusting, honest, genuine, nice, accommodating and devoted. But I am also boring. That's not to say I don't enjoy having a good time, quite the contrary, I'm here looking for opportunities to get out more, mostly in search of a partner. But "exciting and dynamic" is a phrase I doubt anyone would ever use to describe me.

I'm a pretty straightforward fellow. I love Jesus, my friends, my family and my job, and am looking to expand my world a bit. While I'd certainly like to start a family of my own in the (possibly near) future, at the moment it would be nice to have a companion to go out and see the occasional movie with or to take out to a restaurant.

I work some pretty long days from time to time, and really am not looking for any games. Some of my values are a little bit older (I recently got laughed at for opening a car door for someone), but I'm also more than willing to respect and accommodate other people's perspectives.

While I refuse to compromise on my most important beliefs, by and large I can get along with just about anyone and enjoy living in service to others. I'm always at my happiest when doing something nice for someone else.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working quite a bit, enjoying time with my friends and family when otherwise free. I've also been keeping an eye on properties and looking at whether or not I want to buy a home soon. This winter I've been hitting the gym pretty hard, since my last promotion it was hard to find the time to do so, but now that I've made it a priority it's nice to be getting all that energy back and I'd forgotten how much I missed it : ) I'm also trying to figure out how I can best serve in my new church home - it took me quite a while to find one I loved since I moved to this area of Columbus.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job, video games, baking and helping folks out.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never asked anyone this, but I'd hazard a guess that they'd notice I'm a big guy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Chronicles of Amber, Proverbs, Stranger in a Strange Land (or most anything else by Heinlein), many other books and series, and to my utter embarrassment a surprising number of YA series.

Movies: Grosse Point Blank, Serenity, Avengers, Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog, Dredd, Supertroopers

Shows: True Detective, Justified, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Firefly, Babylon 5, Buffy

Music: A large variety. Some of my favorite artists include Gnarls Barkley, Natalie Merchant, Tool, Muse and James Taylor.

Food: I'm a meatatarian. I'm morally opposed to consuming plants that have no ability to run away from us as we rip them from the ground. Just kidding. But seriously, animals taste delicious.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Food, water, shelter, air, the community of believers, God.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The past, the future, whatever book I may be reading at the time, job stuff, stuff to do with friends. As mentioned above I've been debating whether or not it's time to buy a home rather than keep renting.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At work or at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have very mild Misophonia. Bet you had to wiki it.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Heck, message me for any old reason. I don't check this site anywhere close to daily, but I'm happy to chat. I am looking for a partner for life though, and while it would be nice to be able to skip ahead 40 years to relaxing on the porch together on a lazy Saturday afternoon, almost everything has to start somewhere.
