I love dinosaurs and lost civilizations and learning about the
cosmos. I love history and science. I love art in all forms and the
concept of superheroes. And for a while I thought I loved making
things, but I'm not so sure anymore.
I like shows that are good. Shows that are funny. Extravagant
Animation. Various HBO things that amaze me in terms of detail and
skill. I think that shows are a better medium for telling stories
with arcs... But we can talk about that later.
Alejandro Jodorowsky is maybe my favorite white person, or maybe HP
Lovecraft. I dig that cosmic horror, quasi-spiritual Mumbo Jumbo,
awesome comic books/graphic novels ( Dude, who wants to go to CAKE
this year?) ( Sandman, The Incal, anything Craig Thompson has
toucher.... I'm digging real hard into Fletcher Hank's Fantomah!!)
I really like sorta off-beat colorful things that are sweet and
bring a smile to your face.
The classics, and the not-so-classics. Specifically concept albums.
The Dear Hunter, Janelle Monae, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, 1930's
Jazz/Scat, Gil Scott-Heron, Madlib, various rock from my youth -
and musicals of course. Weird dreamy whatevers - And of course
I'm a fan of food in general. I don't get along with "texture
people" or people who dislike ginger. I love all cuisines, and I'll
try my best not to judge for not doing the same.
And I'm sorta big into video games ( and I used to make them as
well)... Not NEARLY as much as I used to be. But it's got a special
