Hey, I'm John and I previously had a lot written here but I'm cutting down. It seems no one is on here to actually meet other people for dates or anything close. If you aren't interested in that or me, then be well. I consider myself confident, opinionated, and intelligent as well as an INTP (for anyone who appreciates Jungian personality types).

Just started Adelphi University for Fall 2012 after bouncing around a couple schools and am pledging the fraternity, Kappa Sigma. Currently, I clean central air conditioning systems/air ducts/HVAC parttime for my parents. Most of the time, I'm just trying to relax and enjoy life while it's happening.

Trying... anything. I am adventurous and willing to try anything once!

I am an artist and designer when I want to be or when I get inspired.

I'm top notch at playing video games and doing something else at the same time, marathoning tv series or movies. Procrastination disguised as multi-tasking.

I'm terribly convincing with my words when I can string them properly... at times I tend to blank on the simplest of words so don't judge me for sitting in front of you with a stupid look on my face (that's just my "on tip of tongue" face).

My blue eyes, probably. I guess I don't pay attention to peoples' first impressions, but I am confident they are positive.

I'm usually quiet, especially in large groups, but after getting comfortable I open up, am pretty funny (when my sarcasm isn't taken seriously), and rarely get caught for not knowing a person's name.

This could be an endless list... Recently finished reading the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series bc I'm a sucker for dry, smart (and nine times out of ten, British) humor. I'm a painfully slow reader and tend to read for a week and pick up a week later.

I like a lot of tv shows/series and movies, kinda a multi-media junky. The Newsroom, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Parks and Rec, Suits, American Horror Story, Weeds, True Blood, Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, etc.

I've watched many movies in my day. Not a healthy habit haha but my favorite will always be Tim Burton's masterpiece, A Nightmare Before Christmas! I'm a cinephile, which is relatively easy when most people my age haven't even seen the original Star Wars trilogy....

- A new series (tv/movie/book/comic/game) to obsess over
- My sketchbook/notebook/journal
- Food or a kitchen to prepare it in
- Time to myself
- Friends and, heck, I'll throw in family too
- The internet if I'm being honest

Really depressing shit. Well I don't find it depressing but when I try to explain it to others they think it's depressing shit. It's mostly how nothing we do matters in relation to the vastness of the universe, but I think it's beautiful how everyone carries on with their personal view not slighted in the least.

I enjoy a good party but more often I'll be hanging out with friends, having a laugh. Clubs and bars seem more trouble than they're worth but are still fun.

You aren't creepy/judgmental/illiterate/boring and can prove it.

You are actually on here looking for dates/friends/social interaction and aren't wasting time.

You are relatively close and aren't constantly busy.
