I'm a sociology major at IUSB and I love it. I like hanging out with my friends and movies. I like going outside and I love photography. I also love to go to the local farmer's market and hang out in the sunshine. I love bike rides and walking. :) I also love going to the beach. Sometimes speaking through quotes is just the best way to get the sense of who I am, how I think, and how I see the world across. I'd love to meet people who are open to discussing their ideas. lots of various things. It's hard to say what I'm good at really because I hate sounding boastful. I suppose I'm good at school but that doesn't make me sound fun and sexy. :p I'm good at taking road trips, staying cool under pressure, procrastinating, and having a good time. :)

I have a lot of favorites when it comes to books, movies, music and food.

I love vampire/werewolf novels (no this does not mean Twilight). Generally those by Laurell K. Hamilton and Anne Rice. I do read more serious things though. I enjoy Poe, Hart Crane, Jane Austin, Bronte, David Sedaris (who isn't serious generally but who is a seriously good author), Steinbeck, C.S. Lewis, etc.

I enjoy a wide variety of films from mainstream to indie, long to short. I do have a particular soft spot for vampire/werewolf movies as well as Fight Club, Amelie (and other foreign films), Fur, and the LOTR movies.

My musical taste is all over the place from indie to rap to old school rock and jazz.

As for food, well I just enjoy it in general. I like sushi, Italian, and Greek. I also enjoy all things Cajun. It's the Creole in me!

I could never do without:

My personal library - because books are very important.

My younger brother because he's awesome.

My friends because they are my life.

Laughter because laughing is awesome.

The gym because I like working out.

My kitten because he's cuddly and adorable.
