My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm redoing much of this now, because I find the glib attitude I wrote when I first started this does not always apply to me right now. I'm going to do the best I can to make this fit, though we'll see how close it goes.

I am, like everyone else, myself. This apparently includes not being entirely over the glib attitude and a cheap way to answer a ridiculously open question. If you're still with me till now you're either very curious, or an avid reader. Good, I'm both as well.

I suppose the best way to describe myself is by the way I tend to live my life. I am relatively low maintenance and avidly low stress (it just tends to gum up the works), I'm a long term doodler (of what, I rarely have a clue), and a voracious conqueror of books of the finest and lowest literary quality. I'm a glutton for a good pun, and a fan of a sharp wit. I am honest in a way that is both good and bad because brutal honestly is often worse than a white lie.

I have, it would seem, a horrible ability to describe myself but there are two things that would seem to be perfect for the situation... First a previous woman in my life nicknamed me "Peter Pan" not for my ability to look fabulous in green tights (untested and most assuredly not true I would think) but because I refuse to grow up. She is both right and wrong. I will forever be a child and can make no claim otherwise, I laugh at inappropriate jokes and think animated clips of things can be most hilarious. I also have a tendency to procrastinate like I'm about to catch the school bus. But I do know when I need to be serious and my life so far has not been an easy one so given the choice I'll often take the lighthearted route. Second I believe the phrase "knowing just enough to be dangerous" was crafted just for me. I have a head filled with the most random little facts and an ability to retain the most mundane of things.

I also have a horrid weakness for redheads. I don't know why this is, but I've been told by people I grew up with its been since birth.

There is always more to tell about yourself but this is where I give it a rest for the self spouting rant. If you need to know something further just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I used to say I had no clue. I still don't, but I think that's part of the adventure of it all. Right now I'm just taking it one day at a time and doing the best to stay ahead of the boulder like Indiana Jones escaping a temple.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think I've stared at this box for a good five minutes now. I'm good at many things, I'm bad at many more (like dancing. But I do so try) but trying to figure out a few things I'm really good at... eh.

I'm really good with words. Not this stuff here (unless you think its really good then bonus points for me) but in just talking to people about things. I can typically just talk, even about nothing, for an extended length of time. I can also usually remember those words for a long time to come.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would say its probably my sense of humor. I can be both cutting and sometimes unfortunately crude (though not often anymore), I am very rarely serious.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I read voraciously and if you hand me a book there's a very good chance I'll read it.
Some of my favorite others lately are (in no particular order):
Neil Gaiman
Brent Weeks
George R.R. Martin (Though I'm angry at Dance of Dragons, very much so)
Patrick Rothfuss
Christopher Moore
Stephen King
Historical novels, both fictional and non-fictional.

Movies: If you trust my Netflix (and I wouldn't) my taste in movies is like music, only worse. I have Korean subtitled movies next to slapstick comedies next to How It's Made!
Some staples however are:
Kevin Smith movies
Martial Arts movies (both good and bad)
Comedies
Pixar/Dreamworks stuff
Rom'Coms

Shows: I don't actually have cable so I'm horridly out of date on TV. But shows that I still stream are things like Chopped, Top Chef, Community, and Walking Dead. I'm a sucker for series, and rewatch Firefly once every year or two.

Music: Pretty much anything, with some very small limitations. I tend not to like a ton of strict country, or really gangster rap. Beyond that I will listen to nearly anything, and sing along badly with what I know.

Food: I like to cook, I like to eat. I love eating just about every ethnicity of food with an especial love of Oriental (Japanese/Vietnamese/Thai/etc), Ethiopian, and Indian. But I will try anything, and I'll try and make anything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends and Family
2. Books
3. Animals (I miss having a pet, and wish I had someplace large enough for one)
4. Earphones
5. The Internet
6. My phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why people do what they do.
What I would say in a given situation. (I think secretly everyone does this. Where they have the entire argument in their head and try and figure it all out)
How to survive the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
What to do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing anything and everything. A friday night for me is the same as all other nights really, anything can happen, it just depends what people are doing at the time and if I want to partake.

A low key friday usually involves a movie at home, and a book.
Or Friday night can be playing pool at the bar, or running around with friends to more of them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Despite working in restaurants I was unable to cook a good grilled cheese until I was nearly twenty.

In a high school debate in an AP European History class we did a mock version of the Nuremberg Trials which I won. The only problem was I was defending the Germans.
