Hey I live in Bournemouth. That's why it says Bournemouth under my
name, I guess. Not the best opener in the world, but hey-ho
I'm looking for someone that doesn't take themselves too seriously
and is up for a laugh. I like to listen, and prefer to meet up with
people who like to talk. If you're not a big talker, then that's
fine, I'll keep on rambling away if needs be, but I prefer to hear
other people talking. I don't know why. Perhaps it's because when
I'm talking, I'll know what I'm about to say, and hence there's no
mystery. I'm a veritable Sherlock Holmes when it come to mysteries.
I start wearing funny hats and everything.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working in a nice office, with lovely people, doing various
engineering things. Lovely. Other than that, I help out with local
drama groups, run a scout troop back in Oxford, and go out and get
silly drunk with my friends. Not all at the same time. At least,
not any more.
I’m really good at
Sleeping on public transport. If there were some kind of medal for
it, I'd miss out because I'd sleep on the train there.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know! It takes people a while to realise I'm 6ft, so it's
not my height. My shoes, then? You'd have to meet me and make a
note of your first impressions in order to find out. Message me,
and we'll make it happen. See what I did there? Smooooooooth...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love reading too much to have a favourite. It's all a bit
prejudice really, saying one book is better than another. Who are
we to judge!
Ghostbusters. It was a close call between that and Vampire Killer
Barbies, but ghostbusters pulled through on the fact that it
actually had a plot.
Guitar based rock - it'll never die. If you go back and listen to
the old Buddy Holly records, just hear how cool his guitar is. That
flat piece of board with a few strings tied on to it manages to be
considerably cooler then many of todays popstars.
The six things I could never do without
Fosters, fags, fun, fires, friends and fones. I like alliteration,
and if I have to sacrifice spelling to achieve that, so be it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Back in Oxford, helping the scouts, or in Bournemouth helping with
a show, or in a bar watching a gig, or at a friends having a laugh
or at home watching the tellybox. Variety is king. True fact. Live
and learn, kids.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I smoke a pipe (occasionally) and I have a pet hedgehog. The two
items are unrelated, but always seem to complement each other when
written in the same sentence.
You should message me if
You should just message me, full stop. I like messages, they're
nice. If you're nice too, then you'll get a message back in return.
And then anything could happen. If you don't message me, then
there's no chance of anything happening. And that's terrible...
