I'm a friendly, funny and all-around good guy looking to meet
interesting people. I enjoy cooking, watching people cook things on
the Food Network, and playing a raucous game of NHL 2012 with my
bros. Well, not the last part. But I do enjoy spending time with
friends and would love to find someone to do friend-type activities
with, but with added perks, like kissin' n' stuff - (when it's
I'm an easy-going guy, and I hope to find the same. Someone with a
good sense of humour who isn't easily offended, and who has an
opinion about things. I love learning, so it'd be nice to find
someone who is passionate about their interests.
What I’m doing with my life
I work for TIFF in their Advancement department. I also just finished the sixth season of Roseanne, so there's that.
I’m really good at
Finger-picking my guitar and my Kermit the Frog impersonation, which has declined over the years. So... I guess, as for the latter, 'really good' doesn't best describe it anymore.
I'm also pretty good at photography and Oscars trivia.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A Spot of Bother, The Lost City of Z, Devil in the White City, Down and Out in Paris and London, Raymond Carver short stories;
Rosemary's Baby, The 400 Blows, The Piano Teacher, also pretty obsessed with the Criterion Collection;
Peep Show, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Golden Girls, Keeping Up Appearances;
Eclectic: electronic, classical, dance, folk (just saw Joanna Newsom and she was amazing);
I have a bag of candy next to my bed right now, but in terms of real food, I love trying everything. I just had a lovely scone and jam tasting with a friend at Kitten and the Bear.
The six things I could never do without
1. Listening to Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me every Monday morning.
2. Peanut butter
3. My Pentax
5. Roseanne's laugh
6. Something I am "doing without": my appendix
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why Angela Lansbury has never won an Emmy.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with friends, or tired after work - which would include
watching a movie, playing video games, or reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I talk in my sleep. Not too creepy. It's mostly funny, I swear.
You should message me if
... you DARE. No, but seriously. If you're fun and stuff.
