My Self-Summary

I recently moved to Fort Wayne from Iowa. I graduated college with a degree in Audio Engineering, and am trying to get into sound design and audio for movies. I spend most of my free time writing music. I play several instruments but I could not live a day of my life without my guitar. I am usually a pretty calm person, and like spending time lounging around, playing and writing music, watching movies, or having great conversations with my friends and family. I spend at least an hour or more in my kitchen every day and love cooking. I also enjoy playing as much golf as free time allows.

What I’m doing with my life

Starting life after college, writing music, extensively studying and learning the music of jazz musicians, and just trying to express myself and make an impact on people every day.

I’m really good at

I think that's a better question for the people around me, but the things I do constantly and am hopefully good at are; play guitar, write music, and cooking.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know, ask the people that have met me. Or find out yourself. I have got more compliments about my eyes than anything else so I guess those.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - Man in the High Castle, The Player Piano, Blues People, and anything about Jazz or Blues

Music - In the sake of keeping this short, if it's Jazz, Blues, Soul, or Funk I like it Some examples Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Jeff Golub, Miles Davis, Pat Metheney, Al Green, and Parliament.

Movies - Just to name a few, Anything by Kubrick or Hitchcock, Fight Club, High Fidelity, I Love You Man, Unbreakable, Zodiac, and anything that can keep me guessing. Once again, too many to type, ask if you want to know.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Music, my thought process is usually full of ideas for songs or what I like to call, "the soundtrack to my life." When I'm not thinking about that its usually what I'm gonna cook or something interesting I read in a book.

Writing music, in the studio (home or otherwise), or watching movies with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I get very very very very obsessive over the smallest details of anything I'm passionate about. A blessing but a curse sometimes.
