My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, I'm not the best writer, but here goes.

I'm a senior at NDSU, studying Computer Science. I recently started an internship, and I'm absolutely loving it! I've got one year before I graduate, and it's looking like I'll get to keep working through the year.

When I'm not busy being a code monkey, I'm usually playing some games with friends (tabletop or video, I'm down with both), or hunting for music. I'm an amateur DJ, so I'm always looking to find more music to expand my library. I'd love to be the Saturday night rave DJ for anime conventions someday.

On that note, I am definitely a nerd/geek/whatever term you want to use. I'm into a lot of different things - cartoons, anime/manga, Supernatural, the list goes on. I've been going to conventions for a little over three years now, and I don't see that changing any time soon :P

More recently, I've actually been able to DJ at some conventions because a friend of mine throws room parties at said conventions, which are always really awesome.

All in all, I really just try to be myself. I don't see the point in trying to be someone/something I'm not, or getting too stressed out over whatever life decides to throw at me. It's my personal, heartfelt belief that life is far too short to take seriously; you've got to have fun with everything you do, enjoy life to the fullest. :3
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm a student at North Dakota State University, studying Computer Science. I only have a year left before I graduate, and I'm working full-time right now as a software engineer intern (which is an absolute blast, I love my job). I'm hoping that I can keep the position and start full-time once I graduate.

I've also had several ideas for various things that I would like to try and develop, and if it gets that far I'd love to try and market them myself.

Other than that, I just try to live life to the fullest, enjoy every moment of every day and make life as fun and full of laughter as I can for myself and everyone around me. :3
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
A bunch of different things...mostly logic-based stuff. Academically I'm good with math and logic. Outside of academics, I'm good at rollerskating, DDR and being silly in some fashion or another.

I'd like to think I'm good at DJing too, but I still feel like I have a long way to go on that one. Practice makes perfect, right?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My fedora/the fact that I'm basically always wearing a hat, my hawaiian shirt(s), and my trench coat if it's cold enough for it...and I guess sometimes the length of my hair?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I don't read casually much...mostly cause it's hard for me to find something I find interesting. However, I recently finished the Wheel of Time series, and absolutely loved it. Hoping to find another series like it soon.

Music: I love music. Can't live without it at all. I grew up on oldies, Tom Lehrer, Flanders & Swann (I hope I got their names right), and other similar things; got into Weird Al in elementary school and I've been happily memorizing his songs ever since; started cranking out hard rock and metal through middle school; embraced my geeky side in high school with anime music and similar jams. Now I listen to just about everything under the sun, but ever since I started working as a DJ I've been paying more and more attention to the ever-growing world of EDM/electronica.

I'm still a sucker for a great guitar riff, though. Probably always will be. :P

Food: Meat and potatoes. That's all there really is to it. I can literally be bribed with good hamburgers.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
1) Computers (yes, this includes the internet)
2) Friends
3) Love
4) Laughter
5) Music
6) Learning
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about lots of things all the time. Usually side projects or random ideas I get from time to time related to my major and interests somehow. I also tend to get off on philosophical tangents from time to time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, having a good time and destressing from the week's wear and tear.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Three, things, actually:

1) I'm absolutely terrible at describing myself in profiles like this.
2) I'm an avid anime convention-goer, and I hope to be the DJ for the Saturday night raves at such cons in the future. :3
3) I tend to overthink things way too much. It's something I've been striving to improve, but I've still got a ways to go, I think.
