I am happy, sincere, and curious.

My Self-Summary

Greetings!

My main interest is helping people who are in need, particularly in developing nations. I care about the homeless and others in need here in the USA, also.

I am a Christian and my relationship with Jesus Christ is very important to me. The further I have walked with the Lord, the more I have come to see myself as I really am and not as I wish I were, helping me be less judgmental of others.

What I’m doing with my life

I am involved in nonprofit work here and abroad, especially in India. I am currently working on my MPA (slowly).

I’m really good at

Caring about people, making people feel at ease, writing, research.

The first things people usually notice about me

Approachability, friendliness, sincerity.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: nonfiction, particularly biographies. I enjoy reading very much.

Movies: docudramas are my favorites.

Music: Classical: symphonies, piano violin or cello solos. Christian inspirational/worship music helps me express my love for God.

Food: I really enjoy salads, Ethiopian and Indian Delhicuisines.

The six things I could never do without

I guess it is easy to grow dependent on things.

1) I would certainly miss my computer and a good Internet connection if I had to do without them.
2) I would REALLY miss my glasses.
3) And I don't like going barefoot so I need my shoes ....well, all my clothes, for that matter!
4) And my toothbrush - I would miss it even more than
5) A hairbrush
6) A nice warm shower with soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything! Or at least it seems that way.

On a typical Friday night I am

Visiting with family/friends, taking walks, reading, studying, checking the news online......

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Hmmm.... My desk is messy. And if I clean it, it only stays clean a few minutes before it is covered with papers, again. I don't know how this happens.

You should message me if

I am open to discussions about anything :)

God bless you!
