I am curious, ambitious, and driven.

My Self-Summary

Where to start, hmmm? Well, I'm a bit of a nerd, but I love basically all sports. I've played soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and baseball at some point or another. I've played soccer for basically my whole life.

I'm a huge car and motorcycle nut. I still need to learn to drive a manual car though. I always go to the Philadelphia Auto Show every year. It's tons of fun!

Hands down, I make the best banana bread in the universe. You can quote me on it; it's delicious! Everyone who has had my banana bread has more or less claimed it's the best thing since sliced bread. And since banana bread ends up getting sliced... well, you can imagine just how amazing it is =P

I'm pretty good with computers. I can take them apart and put them back together with ease or build one up from scratch.

Quizo with one "z" is arguably the greatest trivia game ever. Even better than already awesomeCranium. Just don't ask me to sing, please! I will totally rock anything gnilleps though (for you cranium players).

I love The Simpsons and Family Guy. Futurama and Dilbert are also incredible. Aside from Saturday morning cartoons during the 90's of course. Nothing will ever trump those.

I love speaking french despite the fact that I'm nowhere near fluent in it. Although according to a few real french people I've met and spoken with, I'm quite good! C'est bon pour moi, n'est-ce pas? =) One day I will travel to France (and hopefully find some history about my family). I'd like to travel to Australia too.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently a senior at Drexel getting my BS and MS in materials science and engineering. I'm looking forward to graduating, but I know I will miss school. Or at least the freedom associated with it, anyway.

I've always dreamed of riding motorcycles and now I'm 99.9% of the way there. I have an old motorcycle I'm fixing up and I got it running this past summer and rode it a few miles, though it still needs some work before I can take it out on the road full time. I hope to be able to take a sportbike to a track and learn to race, eventually, even if only for fun.

I’m really good at

Baking banana bread. I really should start a business!
Repeating myself.
Math and science. I wouldn't be an engineer otherwise!
Running long distances.
Being a jack of all trades.
Repeating myself =)

The first things people usually notice about me

I've never asked - I'm going to guess my smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - If You Give a Mouse a Cookie! Here are some authors I like: Dan Abnett, Richard Knaak, and Vince Flynn

Movies - Batman Begins / Dark Knight, Transformers, Predator, True Lies, Office Space, Gladiator, Planet Earth,

Music -Mostly rock/alternative. I really like Soundgarden, ACDC, and Alter Bridge. I also like musical scores to movies (like Gladiator, for example), and Jazz/Swing music.

Food - Philly cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, banana bread (I make the best banana bread in the universe), Milk, fresh iced tea

The six things I could never do without

In no particular order:

Family (definitely #1 though)
Friends
soccer
pencil
paper
an eraser

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Where I'm going to be, what I want to do, and what I've done. I have so many things I'd like to do, but it's a matter of actually getting both the time and resources to do them. If I were to make a "bucket list" right now it'd be pretty long, so I want to start crossing things off ASAP.

I love figuring out how things work and think about it all the time. I have a huge appreciation for the ingenuity of others for solving even the simplest of problems. Working on my motorcycle was nothing short of enlightening since I could take things apart, see how they work, then put them back together.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with my brother doing all sorts of crazy stuff on a farm.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Captain Crunch is the man. Peanut Butter Crunch is just an amazing cereal. It brings out my inner child =)

You should message me if

You think I'm interesting and want to talk! There's something about me you can't quite put your finger on - called a "je ne sais quoi" in french =). You have an appreciation for grammar, math, science, or nerds. Or some combination of the above. Or perhaps you just want to talk =)
