My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a really laid back person with a thirst for travel, craft brews, and great restaurants. I love random adventures, and laughs with good friends. I'm also really in to martial arts. I've competed and trained all over, and am grateful for all the places it has taken me. I'm currently taking a break from school and working for a pharmaceutical company in Corvallis as a process development chemist. Yes, I make drugs, but it's not as sexy as Breaking Bad makes it seem...except when I'm singing along with some Mary J. Blige while I synthesize.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently graduated with a degree in biochemistry and work as a synthetic chemist making drugs for the man. It pays the bills, but I'm more fond of traveling, training, writing, exploring new restaurants, cooking, dancing without caring, and making people laugh.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dark humor and O-Chem. Sometimes I mix the two together.

Depends on the social setting. If I'm around friends or any sort of audience, then I'm rather gregarious and a showman. In one on one settings, I'm generally much more reserved and attentive. Physically, I get a lot if comments on my eyes, arms, and smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love anything that shakes me to the core. I look for art that reaches out and gives you a visceral response. Things that fundamentally shape your perspective on life. If you've got any recommendations send them my way. But more specifically...

(A) I usually look to more dystopic books; Chuck Palahniuk being one of my favorites. I also love Lord of the Flies, Slaughter House Five, Jesus's Son, and a slew of others. One of my greatest regrets as a science major is that I get very little time to read.

(B) Fight Club, Sixth Sense, The Virgin Suicides, Groundhog Day, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pi, I Heart Huckabees, Anchorman, Scent of a Woman, Memento, Pan's Labyrinth, Good Will Hunting, 10 Items or Less, Dark Knight, Snatch, American Beauty, The Devil's Backbone. I really like too many to list them all.

(C) I've really gotten into a lot of experimental and progressive rock. Stuff by Red Sparowes, Pelican, Explosions in the Sky, just to name a few. I'm also a big fan of Tool, APC, Opeth, Pink Floyd, Cake, Led Zepplin, and many more. I'm generally pretty open with music.

(D) I love exotic and spicy foods. I think Thai food would have to be my favorite ethnic cuisine though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Good coffee.

2. Good friends/family.

3. Good food.

4. Music.

5. Showering.

6. Artistic outlets.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
So many things.
