Well what do ya know... after six years apart, an ex girlfriend and
I got together this last week and worked out our differences and...
we're a couple again! I'm so happy to have her back and I think
it's for good this time.
So instead of deleting my profile here, I wanted to encourage everyone to keep looking, and you never know what might fall into your lap.
My time here on OKC was a lot of fun. I loved the questions, tests, etc. I'll still use this site at times because of the nice character counter in the email proggy, lol. No other site does that. Some places where you can post blogs, which I love to write, have limits on how many characters you can input in one post. A site I often visit, DXPnet.com has a 2500 character limit and you just have to guess... but I come here, write my blog... and can see exactly how much space I have... then I copy and paste the blog into the other site... THANKS OKC!
So good luck to you all, and I thank the owners of OKC for making such a fun site.
I've left my blogs here also. There are some interesting ones about horses if you're a horse-person. There's one about Bagpipes and a couple of others including my view of how online dating should be handled.
I'm leaving the info about my friend DCMerlin here too, because his OKC guide is very helpful to members new and old.

Why you ask? Because for instance, when you're doing the MATCH questions here on OKC, if you come across a question that doesn't have an acceptable answer listed... you should SKIP the question, because if you don't, it can greatly throw off your MATCH numbers. Also, did you know that answering "Irrelevant" means that you agree with ALL the possible answers? If you thought irrelevant meant that you didn't agree with ANY of the answers, this can greatly throw off your MATCH numbers. Another thing that can throw off the OKC software is how important you think an answer is, and how important you expect a potential matches answer to be. Key Questions? You need to be very careful which questions you set as KEY questions. Merlin tells you why in his guide. OKC is a LOT trickier than it first appears to be. If you want the best possible matches, then you have to answer the questions in the correct way. Reading Merlins guide will help a LOT. After reading Merlins guide, I erased all six hundred of my questions and started over. I am now confident that my profile here is set up the best way possible.
