My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello. I am Graig. I enjoy the following:

Sleeping, buying things off the internet, running short distances, video games, punk and metal, awkward situations, playing guitar badly, growing facial hair, randomness, reading stuff, snowboarding, and very few other things.

I grew up in Ottawa and graduated from Carleton University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences. For the past four years before moving to Quebec, I lived in Australia where I worked as an exploration geologist. For the moment, I am just trying to get a bit of Canadian work experience in my field, in an attempt to decide where I would like to live more permanently. I am thankful that my career has opportunities around the world. For someone who loves to travel as much as I do, I don't think I could have ended up in a better position.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as an exploration geologist in the mining industry. My career tends to take me all over Quebec for extended periods of time, so I am finding it difficult to meet people during my time off in Quebec City. This could be due to the fact that I have the French language skills of a stereotypical Ontarian, but I suppose my borderline-misanthropic tendencies don't do me any favours either.

When I am not working a ridiculous amount of hours in the middle of nowhere, I just like to unwind with friends and have a few beers, go on random adventures to other countries, play guitar, watch movies, or just hang out and play video games. I try to go to the gym at least three times a week, and have recently started learning French in my spare time. I also love snowboarding, and try to hit up Stoneham as often as possible during the winter.
