Hello. I am Graig. I enjoy the following:

Sleeping, sarcasm, buying things off the internet, running short distances, video games, punk and metal, awkward situations, playing guitar badly, growing facial hair, randomness, reading stuff, and putting on an air of general immaturity.

I grew up in Ottawa and graduated from Carleton University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences. For the past four years before moving to Quebec, I lived in Australia where I worked as an exploration geologist. For the moment, I am just trying to get a bit of Canadian work experience in my field, in an attempt to decide where I would like to live more permanently. I am thankful that my career has opportunities around the world. For someone who loves to travel as much as I do, I don't think I could have ended up in a better position.

I work as an exploration geologist in the mining industry. My career tends to take me all over Quebec for extended periods of time, so I am finding it difficult to meet people during my time off in Quebec City. I suppose my borderline-misanthropic tendencies don't do me any favors either, but I feel like I am at least on the right track creating this profile.

When I am not working a ridiculous amount of hours in the middle of nowhere, I just like to unwind with friends and a few beers, go on random adventures to other countries, play guitar, watch movies, or just hang out and play video games. I have recently taken up snowboarding, and am actually going to Japan at the end of 2012 to ride various mountains on their north island. I also hope to get a lift pass this winter for somewhere near Quebec City.

My career and general life goals, science, social interactions, existentialism, and the inconceivable number of decisions that we are faced with on a daily basis, both crucial and otherwise insignificant. But then again, some days I'm just thinking about beer and pornography like any other dude.
