I am adventurous, erudite, and strange.

My Self-Summary

I am a one-woman hurricane. I'm very nerdy, but not in the least bit dorky. I love shopping, roleplaying, clubbing, gaming, and dogs. I'm an extrovert in the extreme and very comfortable with large crowds. I like to go out drinking with friends, see concerts, and go dancing at any number of local gay bars. (They have the best music!!) I like to read, mostly non-fiction, but I also like a good trashy vampire novel sometimes. My friends and I like to get together to cook and have barbeques, usually in the summer with lots of beer and music. I'm a freak in every sense of the word. I like tattoos, I have two and want more. I have three dogs in my pack, of which I am naturally the alpha bitch. I'm a vegetarian for health reasons, but I'm not self-righteous about it and I don't care if others eat meat or even cook meat with my utensils. I care about animals - A LOT, that's just not the main motivation for my veg lifestyle.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently self employed, doing freelance work as a dog trainer. I am also working on a few different ideas for businesses. It's my dream to work for myself, and I am pursuing it. I spend quite a bit of time playing computer and role-playing games, also spend a good bit of time with friends. My house is kind of a combination of a bus station, nightclub, and beatnik crash pad. FierceKallisti's Home for Wayward Boys is accepting new students. There is, however, a rigorous application process for admittance. It involves whiskey and cute undies.

++EDIT++ We also accept female students, but "Home for Wayward Boys" just sounds so much funnier. The undies/whiskey comment still stands :D++

I’m really good at

Talking to people is a great love of mine. I enjoy talking to strangers, especially, since they tend to have new and fresh thoughts. I'm also quite good at investigation. If you are a shady, lying sort of person then let's just say that you might not want to try that with me. :) I'm a snazzy dresser and prefer to express my individuality through my hair, makeup and outfits. I think I'm good at that. I'm very well-read and love to discuss books. I think I'm good at that too, but sometimes my debating pisses people off.

The first things people usually notice about me

My naturally curly, fire-engine-red and black hair, either that or my big tattoo on my shoulder/chest... Also my cleavage is usually a conversation starter... :) People also notice my big personality. I'm a bit loud, a bit opinionated, and like to laugh a lot. People probably also notice my big crazy earrings or my tendency to wear lots of jewelry.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Alright, I'm gonna try and do this part but I expect it to take a while.

Books:
Jane Eyre
Geisha by Liza Dalby
Harry Potter
Dune

I don't like wines so much, I have allergies so can't really do the red wines. I do occasionally like a nice sweet dessert wine or an icewine though.
I love beers of all types and varieties, with the exception of super-hoppy beers. A good example of a beer I love is Sierra Nevada Pale (I like the stout too...) A good example of a beer I hate is Bell's Two-Hearted Ale.

The six things I could never do without

I'm gonna rewrite this section. Call me a perfectionist if you will, but you'd be wrong. Or as Morrisey says, you'd only be half-right.

Cigarettes - they are my life's blood, the oil that greases the great machine of me and without them, people die or at least come to wish they were dead.

Coffee - if cigarettes are my life's blood, coffee is my glucose. Without it "I can't brain today, I have the dumb." Also, I love it with every fiber of my being. I love trying new and interesting coffees and I also like a good old fashioned crappy gas station cappucino every now and again, just to remind myself that I'm not too good for it.

My computer - It's my other brain. Her name is Elizabeth and she is a bit rickety and slow, but I'm emotionally attached to her. I didn't build her myself, but I have upgraded her on my own several times. She also has pretty case lights.

My dogs - They are the best damn things on four legs. They are expensive to care for and can be horribly trying at times, but who else is going to bust into the bathroom while I'm bathing and drink my bathwater? Who else is going to pull paper towels out of the trash and shred them all over my living room? Who else is going to eat an entire stick of butter while I have my back turned for a split second? Incidentally, those questions are all rhetorical. Real butter-eaters, bathwater-drinkers, and paper-towel-shredders need not apply. :)

My friends - It can be an ugly place up here in FierceKallisti's mind. My friends love me, sometimes I can't understand why, but they do. They keep me from being too grandiose, too bossy, too self-deprecating, and they give me someone to take care of. I need that, otherwise I get WAY too self-centered. Also, they are a random bunch of sideshow freaks and I love them for that.

Music/Books - I'm gonna lump them together. Suck it, OkCupid. Music is the soundtrack to the epic movie that is my life. Books give me access to ideas that are new and fresh, or old and interesting.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I think all the time about all the things I should be doing, but am blowing off. I'm not so good at prioritizing. I also like to plan things for my friends to do. I'm the punk-rock Martha Stewart of our group and am usually in charge of birthday parties and that sort of thing. I also spend a lot of time thinking about ways that I can support myself without compromising my ideals about working for myself. I tend to think about sex a lot, too. I have some very adventurous opinions on that subject and it often comes up in conversation. I am curious about other people and how they live, and how their lives are different or similar to mine.

On a typical Friday night I am

Getting ready to go out to a club or bar... I love dancing and hanging out with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm very sexually adventurous. I like lots of attention and to feel beautiful. I'm bordering on the polyamorous, but that doesn't mean I don't have ethics. That doesn't mean I don't want to go out on dates (I do...) or am not open to the idea of a relationship (I am...), it just means I'm not single-mindedly searching for a relationship. If that sounds a bit complex, it is. I'm a complicated kind of girl.

++EDIT++ Portions of this profile are being rewritten to make more sense and reflect changes and for clarity's sake. This portion is one of them.

You should message me if

You are interesting to talk to, or if you think I would be interesting to talk to. I'm not just looking to hook up, I like to talk to all kinds of people and wouldn't mind making some new friends too.

**EDIT** I'm NOT into cybering so much. If that's your sole interest, then don't bother. Seriously.
