My self-summary
I'm shy, yet strangely adventurous and fearless in any setting other than social. I listen well and truly appreciate being well-spoken in both text and speech. I'm actually kind of concerned that almost every sentence is going to start with an I. I'm Finnish and Swedish, with no discernable traits of either ethnicity, unfortunately.

I prefer actions over words and am singlehandedly trying to convince the world that shyness and a quiet demeanor doesn't equate to boring.

I enjoy general good-heartedness to all things, kindness, and people who are truly passionate, loving, loyal, and ambitious.

I also used to be a very serious hockey player.

What I’m doing with my life
All I ever wanted to do was travel and write, dreams which I have somehow parlayed into studying Urban Design. Hopefully, I'll just become an adventure writer and that'll be that.

I've been running a quasi-skate company that's currently on a few years hiatus at this point, mostly because I ran out of ideas and materials.

I paint, run, drive, skate, and cannot turn down a good time or the company of good people.

My actualy job would be bartending at a restaurant, which is nice, I guess.
I’m really good at
Listening, punctuality, staying up late, waitering, cooking, being loyal, and skating.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall. I don't get along well with trees, especially when they make me look goofy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The World's Most Dangerious Places, Volumes 1-6, Studs Lonigan, Any well-written or interesting book about travel, adventure, hockey, or physics.

Movies: I love Slapshot and The Life Aquatic W/Steve Zissou (I actually would prefer that life over most things, without the treating people like shit part, etc).

I actually don't get to see very many movies, as I get bored watching alone and usually won't bother to finish them.

Music? Bikini Kill, The Dodos, Modest Mouse, Explosions In The Sky, British Sea Power, Sham 69, Dylan, Camera Obscura, Anything Instrumental.

Food? Mexican and Italian.

The six things I could never do without
The six things I could never do without
Not sure about all of these in a few years or a few years past, but I enjoy sleeping in my bed entirely too much to go without it, I guess. That, Kids In The Hall, the greatest car in the world that's been up for every adventure so far (still looks good, too), my family, my friends, and the open road.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Existentialism. I think entirely too much at night (hours!), usually thinking about people, places, things, why I'm so quiet, people I miss, things I want to do, the origins of life, love, coming up with ideas for new boards, and much more.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, skating, or at some really loud bar with my friends.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–28
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You're ambitious, adventurous, funny, sweet, and can appreciate and find humor in the absurdity of everyday life.

Oh, also single.
