My Self-Summary
God, starting these things are hard. It's like chatting somebody up
at a bar, you say hello and then you're on your own, having to
survive on your own alcohol depleted wits. I thought the Interweb
was meant to make things easier. It is 2009 after all; I should be
going to work on a hovercraft and having prospective suitors
brought to me by robots butlers.
Anywoo, hello, I'm Tom, nice to meet you. I like music, comedy, going to gigs, festivals, going out in general. I don't think I've ever had a week where I've thought "you know, I've gone out too much this week and had too much fun. Better stay in more next week". Though that does make me sound like a bit of a party animal, which I'm not really, I just don't like not doing anything.
Bar a slightly odd sense of humour I'm a pretty normal, easy going, fun, affectionate guy.

What I’m doing with my life
Urr... are you trying to depress me OkCupid? I work in the exciting
world of IT support. It's easy but dull work, so let's never speak
of it again; Deal? I'm still stuck in the mindset that there'll be
plenty of time to sort out boring stuff like my career when I'm
older. Unfortunately I think I might already be older. When did
that happen?

So... I don't think I'm really good at it but I won a prize in a photography competition recently so I'm going to say that.

Coupland, Iain
Banks. Catch
22 is ace as well.
Movies: The Big Lebowski (and most Coen brothers films), Office Space, Fight Club, Wet Hot American Summer, Swingers, quite a lot a David Lynch's work, and Wes Anderson's stuff, Charlie Kaufman is a brilliant writer as well.

The six things I could never do without
Number one, music, definitely. And then in no particular order.
Lie-ins. Cheese and cheese based products. Sunny weekends spent
avoiding the sun lest I burn. Schadenfreude. And our lord and
saviour Jesus Christ who died for our sins. (That last one's not
real)
On a typical Friday night I am
Texting around to see who's out. And then trying to persuade them
to go to the Welsh
Club rather than whatever rubbish place they were going to go
to.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Someone cleverer than I am once said that the most interesting
thing about a person is the thing they try to hide the most. So,
I'm going to politely decline to answer this question to leave an
air of mystery.
