I find this a little funny, yet not in the least surprising.

OKC added that indicator which states the frequency of our replies a while back now. I am sure that guys sit here and say "damn! None of these girls ever reply!" Meanwhile, girls are like "what are you talking about, people always reply to me?"

Now just as a fun game, switch your match search to the opposite of what you are looking for (I know, prepositions are not to end sentences with). Anyway, the guys may notice that virtually every indicator for the guys says "replies frequently," while a majority of the indicators for the ladies say "replies selectively/very selectively." Now as an added bonus, check both of the gay only sections. It seems to me that I would have a much better chance with a gay man, than a straight woman. WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO COMPLETELY HETEROSEXUAL!

Again, the dichotomoy between the sexes is not a big surprise, but this is a perfect example for the unbelievers out there.

Well another year has come on gone in my tumultuous life. I think back to what has happened and I am amazed that I am as sane as I am. The year has brought a divorce, a move, a new job, new friends, and pretty much a new life. I have been given a do-over and it is my duty to make use of it the best I can.

It has been a year of tremendous personal growth. I feel that I better understand myself and the world in which I live. The future is bright and I stride yonder with a spring in my step and a glint in my eyes.

The only thing nagging at me-I am about to get onto a plane and waste my entire birthday flying from California to Florida!

So back in the day they used to describe being in love as hearing music playing in your head;you just KNEW that you were in love; love at first sight; and all of the other stereotypes.

Now how real is this really?

Do you know anybody that heard a symphony in there head when they first met someone?
Now I will admit that I may have heard Baby Got Back a couple times when looking at people-but that is entirely different.

I like how the movie Creator (we are going back to the 80s) described love (paraphrased here):

You know that you are in love when you thing about another person more than you think about yourself. All of your decisions are based upon another person's wants, desires, and feelings. Your basic goal in life is to do what you can to make this one special person happy.
Similarly (with any luck), your partner has the same feeling towards you (there has to be a balance).

OK...sure...I pushed it a little far there, but you get the idea.
