I’m kind of a big deal. I have many leather-bound books and my
apartment smells of rich mahogany. Prepare to be swooned.
What I’m doing with my life
I used to be a non-profit therapist that worked with kids in
Compton. Traded that cushy life in for the mean streets of Seoul.
I’m really good at
Golf, trivia, meeting deadlines. I make love to pressure
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm a simple man with simple tastes: watching people get hit
in the balls, underwater lava eruptions, racist jokes (just the
jokes…I’m not racist), kung-fu fight scenes, etc.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: On the Road, Norwegian Wood, Demian, Catcher in the Rye.
Special shoutout to Calvin and Hobbes!
Movies: A Woody Allen/Tarentino double feature
Shows: The Wire, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones,
The Office (UK), The West Wing, Jeopardy!
Music: Nujabes, Pharrell, Epik High, M-Flo, Lupe, Outkast, all jazz
and classical music
Food: Most ethnic foods. Anything salty and spicy
The six things I could never do without
Hot sauce, condiments in general
Jack Purcells and v-neck Ts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Comparing Seoul to LA and wondering why I gave up beaches and palm
trees for shitty weather and long underwear.
On a typical Friday night I am
GTL. Minus the T. Itaewon/rodeo/garosugil fist pumping. Foodfly
deliveries and netflix watching
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When asked about my hobbies, I sometimes tell people that I used to
build and collect model airplanes. They're really just Star Wars
Lego sets. And by used to I mean that I still do.
You should message me if
You're looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient,
consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love. Yeah, I just quoted
Sex and the City. Thug life.
