My self-summary
What I'm doing with my life
I'm working on becoming a full-time editor, but doing small
projects in the meantime. I'm living with roommates. We have a
pretty nice setup, so a lot of people tend to come over. I'm
playing RockBand.
I like to play the drums...I think I'm getting good, but I can
handle criticism. I'm collecting things I don't really need. I'm
also buying shirts when I already have too many. I'm watching
movies, and
shunning TV. But I'm still watching TV on DVD. I'm applying for
real jobs. I'm enjoying my Bachelor's Degree...and the lack of help
that it seems to be doing. I'm bowling, running, going to batting
cages, and sleeping in. I'm playing songs that I like over and over
again until I end up hating them. I'm putting my profile on this
site and hoping somebody cares.
I'm really good at
Picking up on anything pretty fast. Especially music. I can usually
sing along with a song I've never heard before after the first time
hearing it. I'm also fairly good at writing essays...though that's
a talent that hasn't found much use since graduating college.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Random trivia books.
Also, I found this cool movie review book called "1001 Movies You
Must See Before You Die."
Movies: Too difficult to say. ...film major. Um...I like anything dealing with time travel, regardless of how good the film actually is. So...Back to the Future, Bill & Ted, and the like. I took a course in New Asian Cinema. Found I liked a lot of Japanese films as well. Especially stuff by Takeshi Kitano. Most of his work involves a great mix of comedy and tragedy, all wrapped up in one film. I like most films in general, and will give most of them a chance. If I haven't seen it, I probably won't mind doing so.
Music: Muse is probably my favorite current band. I'm a fan of most music, as long as it is good. What is defined as good is up to my own discretion. I like both Rock and Classical. And a majority of the stuff that comes in between. I like movie soundtracks, mainly because I like movies, but also because I like instrumental music. Though it is hard to sing to. And I love song covers. Especially when they're arranged in a way that's different than the original. Example: The Ramones version of "What a Wonderful World".
Food: Any. I'm not too picky.
