My self-summary Propose an edit

Name's Richard and I'm just a guy looking to kill some time and have some fun. I'm a film student at UNT with a semester left to go. filmmaking is my life, I enjoy it more than anything else. I like to write, see movies, hang out with my friends, and create anything for kicks. I'm very creative and can't live my life without an outlet for it. I am passionate about politics and make an effort to stay informed. If I were to describe what I'm looking for in this world, I would say nothing. If I were asked what I would do with what I found, however, it would be a different story.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Right now I run half of a Circuit City to pay the bills, and the rest of my time is spent in film school, learning how to not screw up on a movie set. I have tons of little side projects here and there that I tinker with, and when I'm not doing that I'm relaxing with good friends.

I'm really good at Propose an edit

I'm really good at writing, editing video/special effects, building and destroying computers, making people laugh, and fighting crime. Not like bank robberies, but littering, things like that.

Favorite Book: 1984. I love it so much I refuse to list other books as they may dilute its value.

Favorite Movie: dear lord, too many choices. Favorite Music: Our Lady Peace, Snow Patrol, anything that makes me feel like this world can get better

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

I spend a lot of time thinking about people. Too many people suffer in this world, and we as a nation need to help those that cannot help themselves. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few and the one.

I spend a lot of time thinking about creating something that others will be moved by. I don't seek the fame, but I seek the shared experience of enjoying a moving work of art. I think the level of excitement of receiving an Oscar would be met with an equal feeling of dread of having to accept the award in front of other people.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Lately, writing with a group of friends. We plan to knock a short film out every month and form a production company in about a year. No schedule is in stone though, so I can find myself at dinner and a movie.
