I like to travel and eat tasty food, and wandering aimlessly while eating ice cream is one of my favorite pastimes. I also enjoy being outdoors and watching things in Spanish, even though I don't understand everything. I spent a month backpacking in Baja California, and while it improved my outdoor skills immensely it didn't do much for my Spanish (being in the wilderness away from people). Personality-wise, I'm a bit reserved. I'm not much of a planner, preferring to let things work themselves out.

I am cheerful: yes! One of the things people notice about me over time is my facial expression. It is usually contented, if not elated, and in many contexts this does not make sense. For example, I beam at customers while ringing up their purchases. I think my happiness level must go beyond the normal friendliness expected of cashiers, since customers have commented on it. It has its downsides; one gentleman happened to be buying a swimsuit calendar and thought I was laughing at him. Facial expression aside, I am generally content and my irritation rarely lasts long, though I get pretty sulky if people annoy me on purpose.

Oblivious: yes again. It's hardly something to brag about, since it comes from focusing on one thing so intently that I have no attention to spare for anything else. It also comes from daydreaming, or from putting my brain into sleep mode, during which I'm not thinking about anything in particular. Maybe that's why I'm so content most of the time...

Nonsensical: definitely. Can't write a sensible paragraph about something that makes no sense now, can I? Zucchini.

Eat. Sleep. Work. Study. Repeat. I hope to find time to join the sailing club eventually. Otherwise my life revolves around my man.

transforming coffee into something palatable (i.e. not coffee anymore). I either overpower it with hot chocolate or dump candy into it, that usually does the trick. Mmmm candy.

I really couldn't say since I've never asked anyone what they notice first about me. It probably isn't my elatedness. However, those who don't know me well often mistake me for other people with brown hair and glasses, so I think those features might qualify.
