I'm a Michigander who somehow ended up in the south. Crazy, eh? I sometimes end up in Michigan during my time off from school. I'm more likely to stay in than go out; wait, does it count as staying in if I just go to a friend's place to do not a whole lot?

I am a perfectionist, but only sometimes. I'm an underachieving overachiever - I'm either lazy or impossibly thorough.

When I watch Kill Bill, the bad Japanese bothers me. This didn't happen before I took Japanese classes.

I abuse ellipsis, I'm surprised grammatical rules haven't sued me yet.

I like to cuddle.

My favourite colour is green. My computer's spell check thinks I'm British. My computer has a name (TARDIS, named so for the sounds it sometimes makes when it turns on). So does my Nintendo DS (Liam), and both of my fists (Dougal for the left, Chestah for the right. Not Chester, Chestah.).

If you want to wink at me, I'd prefer you just sent a message instead. More personal that way, eh? If I don't respond, I probably just forgot to, feel free to message me again. I will talk to you. Unless you're threatening to kill me. Then that's a bit creepy, eh?

On a somewhat related note, if I tell you to put up your dukes so we can fight, it means I like you.

Right now, I'm a computer science (and math, because it's only two extra classes to double major~) major at University of Tennessee; although up until recently I was informally a physics major. I'm planning to transfer to some school in the north starting in the fall, though; it's all part of my master plan.

After that? Uh, well, I don't really know. Maybe I'll attempt to actually make Digimon, which would be pretty awesome. Awesome in it's intended meaning as well as the sense of I'D BE RIDING AROUND ON THE BACK OF AN ARMORED FIRE BREATHING T-REX!

If that falls through, I'll be a ninja. Because that's viable nowadays, right?

Being a geek, always attempting to look at both sides of every argument, being the exhaust vent for very frustrated people, remembering theme songs.

They don't notice me because I'm a ninja. Of course.

Books: I went through a James Joyce phase in high school. It was awkward for everyone involved. Ulysses probably stunted my mental development. Discworld rocks my socks. Yuu Yuu Hakusho is amazing. Narnia was pretty much the prime fantasy of my childhood. Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. I still haven't read all of the Harry Potter books. Also, I like to read about physics in my free time; science is ossum!

Movies: My all-time, number one, absolute favoritest movie in the world is Labyrinth. Starring David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, and Unsettling Shots of David Bowie's Crotch. Read Or Die, Endless Waltz, Dr Strangelove, The Producers (both versions), Cube, Machine Girl, Kill Bill, The Bells of St. Mary's, The Fifth Element, Mean Girls, anything by Studio Ghibli.

Music: Yoko Kanno, Angela Aki, JAM Project, Yuki Kajiura, Amplifico, Suzanne Vega, The Black Mages, The Seatbelts, They Might Be Giants, Nightwish, Nujabes, Ben Folds, Rodrigo y Gabriela, REDALiCE. Anything good, actually, I don't like having to list things.

Food: Thai, Japanese, Italian, Indian, the concept of "all you can eat tacos".

I guess I can put TV on here, too: Heroes, Escaflowne, The Avengers (Emma Peel episodes only, kthx), 30 Rock. Other stuff I can't think of at the moment.

I'm not lying when I say Digimon Tamers is one of my favourite shows ever. If you have a problem with that, I will fight you. C'mon, put up your dukes!

Games (why is this not a section?): Megami Tensei series, Golden Sun, Odin Sphere, Pokemon, Final Fantasy XII, Chrono Trigger, Metroidvania type games, Star Ocean: The Second Story, Lunar, Ogre Battle.
