My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The name is Nick

My roommate of 5 years once said to me that I was the hardest person to offend he'd ever met.

I'm extremely laid back and chillin is my specialty. I'm accepting and courteous, intelligent but modest, driven by some things and inexcusably lazy about others, I'm artistic and yet somewhat stunted in the abstract but most of all I'm honest. I really pride myself on my honesty and my moral character, and I do what I can to keep that integrity strong and do what I feel is genuinely right. I also bear a strong sense of reason and logic (probably more than is good for me), even though at times I can get pretty emotional.

Also, I felt that saying "I do drugs" wasn't really what I wanted up there, so I left it blank and will say I'm pretty into 420, all day erry day! People may disagree, but I feel it's an important distinction to make.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I went to NDSU for 6 years on-and-off but never finished a degree and at least for now have put that on hold.

I'm working a 9-5 in IT security nowadays. Policy must be adhered to!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Video games - a hobby I've carried since I was younger than I remember, but one I still practice today. Super Smash Brothers Melee, Team Fortress 2 and Rock Band are probably my favorite three. I'm also a huge fan of the classics (Mario, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby)

Percussion - I was in band all through High school and a little here at NDSU. Playing music is always a nice escape from a stressful student's life. Sometimes at work during breaks I run out to my car and play xylophone for 10 minutes >.br />
Okay, so this obviously isn't me, but this is the kinda stuff I can do on mallet percussion. I learned this song specifically my Junior year in high school. BE IMPRESSED BY SOMEONE ELSE'S WORK AND MY CLAIM TO BE ABLE TO DO THE SAME:

Computers - I probably should have some talent with computers as that is what I went to school for. I'll fix your computer free of charge ;)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair probably or my beard when I have one. Perhaps my dumb laugh. My glaring pale-white complexion maybe?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music - I've recently decided that I'll listen to almost anything. As an "aspiring drummer" I find I'm a big sucker for any drum-intense music. That being said, Rush is my favorite, but some others are The Who, Rolling Stones, Three Days Grace, Dream Theater, The Killers, Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, NIN, Adele, Rise Against, Muse, Trapt, Hoobastank, The Scorpions, Bush, Metallica and a lot more...

Books - The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Thief of Always, and Ghost Rider (by Neil Peart), but other than that I don't really read.

Movies - Shawshank Redemption, Princess Bride, Serenity, Equilibrium, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Ace Ventura, The Green Mile, Pineapple Express, Role Models.

TV - Star Trek, Always Sunny, Dexter, Weeds, IT Crowd, Black Books (anything by Graham Linehan really), Better Off Ted, Simpsons, Futurama, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Planet Earth, and plenty more...

Food - Everything except mushrooms and ketchup. In particular though I do have a fatal sweet tooth
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family
2. Friends
3. Computer
4. Music
5. Cats
6. Restaurants

Side note: If you're reading this and you put something like "air" or "food" for this one, I think you've completely missed the point, although I guess it does reveal something about you =P
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
School, finances, history, girls, games, family, friends, food, religion, baseball, music...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'll probably be playing video games or hanging out with my siblings. Pool at the bars is always a good option too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This one time in Kindergarden, I peed in my pants. I didn't know what to do, and somehow I decided that I should take off all my clothes, skip (I kid you not, I skipped) across the school while completely naked to a storage closet and stash my soiled pile of clothes. On my way back (still skipping), I was stopped by my French teacher, who sent me immediately back to the bathroom till they found clothes for me to wear. The whole school probably saw me do it. It was really embarrassing, but hilarious to look back at. What was I thinking?!

You're a happy person. I'd like to think I can deal with just about anything in a relationship as long as she's smiling =)

I'm also always up for a chat if you've got something more casual to talk about. I always ask people who their favorite Pokémon is, so even if that's all you've gotta say I'd like to hear it. People give the most interesting reasons for their picks. I'm torn myself between Butterfree and Tyranitar...
