first of all, i can't spell to save my life. so i apologize in advance.

a writer who can't spell is a fascinating animal. it's not the structure of sentence that enthralls me but the rhythm of it. language, words and stories in all their shapes and forms fascinate me.

i love them. to me, art is the most important thing in the world.

though i have a very broad definition of art.

and i do not expect anyone else to share this opinion. i believe that everyone must feel this way about their career to be able to throw themselves into it.

I live with two roommates (one who pays one who lives off my goodwill) in upper manhattan near the cloisters..

I am a total geek. I write comics, and have an extensive collection of books - mostly scifi and fantasy - all those geeky things that get you beaten up in high school, and I'm damned proud of it. Geek is chic.

Most interestingly, I am a dom as in the BDSM and bondage kind of dom, meaning that although I've had so-called 'normal' relationships it's not that I prefer dating someone who is submissive, but that I like dating people who prefer to be dominated. Although, I don't mind having to work a little.

There is a large difference between a girl who is submissive and a girl ho let's herself be walked on. I'm not looking for someone who is weak minded.

I recently remembered I could draw. I've always known I could write, and I'm told I'm very good at singing. What I am best at though is making people laugh, and giving good advice. I seem to find myself in the position of "he who listens to your problems."

Also I can whistle and hum at the same time. How many people can do that?

books: anything sci-fi or fantasy, i'm a big fan of tad williams, movies: i'll watch anything but I love animation and comedies, music: anything at all, save there is some rap music that i just don't enjoy.

On a more depressing note: my past 3 relationships have all told me, upon going in, that, and I quote: "I fall in love too easily." They lied, each and every one of them and I learned that I'm the one who falls in love too easily. And I wouldn't change it for the world.

lately i've been feeling like i really need more hope in my life.
