Psst! Come here…closer. I am going to let you in on a secret. I am a Superman. When I am disguised behind my computer monitor and laser corrected eyesight I am the typical Clark Kent sitting at the next desk in the office. However, once the atmosphere is right and chemistry is there and with a little flirting, poof, I am a superman sweeping my Lois Lane off her feet.

Still reading? Good, since I didn’t scare you away with my little secret and you aren’t phased by my Reeve-like look, I should probably tell you other wonderful things about myself.

Lets start at the beginning…

I grew up in a little town in Taiwan. We didn’t have a radio nor did we have toys from store so everyone had to make their own toys out of bamboo, cans, bottle caps and other materials we could find. Life was simple and yet I knew there is a much bigger world out there.

Moving to California at 16 was an interesting transition. Fashion, pop culture and computers were all foreign languages to me so I made an effort to learn them all. The first lesson I learned was crossing the street with traffic lights. I learned very quickly that a left turn arrow green light isn’t a walking green light.

As for family I am still very close to my sister and my niece, which is weird because we used to fight all the time as kids. They live in Santa Barbara and I absolutely love my niece and I wish I got to see her more than once a year.

My favorite way to spend a Saturday isn’t out partying, but with the lights off, light up the candle and incense, curl up in bed with a good independent film, with a cool drink, popcorn and my favorite girl snuggle up beside me.

I am currently working as a software engineer at a start up company. I attempted to start a company with a couple of friends a couple of years back. Thomas Edison failed countless times before he succeeded in inventing light bulb. There will be another attempt by me as well.

I can make friends with almost anyone. My last travel trip was to Berlin. I rented an apartment for my trip and invited people that live in the city for pot luck dinner party. We ended up having cold food because everyone brought salad but I had a blast getting to know everyone.

You will notice that I am a typical Libra. You’d probably feel safe to tell me your secret pretty soon and when you get home you start to wonder if you made a mistake of telling me. Don’t worry, your secrets are safe with me as you will probably also notice I have short term memory.

I just started reading Steve Jobs. I like that whatever he does he does it with his heart. There is nothing more free than follow your heart and being vulnerable to whatever the outcome is and embrace it.

My favorite movie of all time is an Irish film "Inside I am dancing". It's very inspiring and a good movie to watch with someone you are close to.

I enjoy most music and what I listen to changes constantly. Currently I am switching from Reggae to country.

1. My health - I try to eat healthy and do my share of exercises.
2. New York - There is no place like home. They say it is the best place to come home to.
3. Internet - remember those days you can only find information on a phone book(Do people still have those at home?)
4. Travel - People are my interest and people from differently culture are even more interesting
5. Communication - War starts over lack of communication, fights do too
6. Family - well, they are family

I spend a lot of time thinking about traveling. For me, travel is romance and adventure rolled into one. For me there is something breath taking about stepping onto a plan in a modern city of skyscrapers and subways and stepping off mere hours later into a city of accent cathedrals, narrow cobble stone roads, steamy crowded markets and tiny theaters. While I love a white sandy beach at an all-inclusive resort, the real adventure for me is explore places that your average tourists passes up and befriending the locals.

Out with friends for happy hour, watching a movie at sunshine theater or learning to salsa dance.

I actually do enjoy watching a chick flick. SHhhh...don't tell anyone, it doesn't really fit my super hero image.
