I'm a transplant from California and have been here for a few years. I'm gregarious, easy-going and humorous. Making people laugh is one of the simple pleasures in life that I have, so if you're around me, I'm sure I'll be putting a smile on your face.

I am a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and enjoy working with kids. I work in IT, although my degree is anthropology. Eventually, I would like to pursue a career in psychology working with troubled youth.

I'm somewhat of a NPR junkie and listen to it whenever I'm driving around town. My favorite programs are This American Life and The Story. I care about environmental issues, world and domestic politics, and the welfare of others.

Also, I am currently training to enter the triathlon. A friend of mine has gotten me into it. I'll be training this off season in prep for March when tri season begins again.

Working in IT (Office Space is my real life), volunteering, cooking, playing guitar and violin, singing, martial arts, salsa dancing, gaming, and enjoying life. I also swim and weight lift, and try to make it to the gym 5 days a week.

I'm decent at guitar, guitar hero, singing, salsa dancing, martial arts, photography, bowling and underwater basket weaving.

I actually got up at 5 AM and went out to shoot pictures of the nature preserve, because that's when the light comes in at an angle and produces vivid colors. Yeah, I'm a nut.
