My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Tell me a story. Your story. I can think of nothing I would rather hear.

I'm odd, weird, insane, fun, entertaining, vaguely shallow, randomly evil, kind, and an easy smiler. I find people the best entertainment in the world, and yet I hate reality TV.

I'm a pretty relaxed guy who enjoys the random adventure equally with the quiet night in watching a movie.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Recently decided to go back to school for Physical Therapy, and it has severely cut back on my ability to socialize. Still trying, though.

Work in a boring desk job, teach martial arts, and am a member of a local vaudeville fire troupe. I love performing and volunteering for performances and events.

I will learn acro-balance and tumbling! It's just a matter of time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
-I rock the kitchen, both baking and cooking. You've never had cookies like mine.
-I am an amazing listener, or so I'm told.
-I am a trained martial artist, but my style is about balance, so if I break you, I have to know how to put you back together. Thus, I am a decent healer (not physician!). This also means I give amazing massages (45 minutes, minimum)
-I am an excellent fire breather.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It varies between my eyes and my smile and my laugh.

My friend once said to me, "You are one of the loudest people I know. No, let me explain. It's your laugh. It is so unabashedly happy."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin, Anything by Mercedes Lackey, The King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss, The Emberverse series by S.M. Stirling, The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I'm a Sci-Fi/Fantasy nerd. Also, Stiff by Mary Roach, the Hand by Frank Wilson, and Trail Guide to the Body are amazing books.

Movies: A Life Less Ordinary, Moulin Rouge, Magnolia, Scott Pilgrim, The Fountain, most Disney Movies (they bounce between being awesome and being terrible, but I'm a sucker for happy endings), Happy Endings, Benny & Joon, The Princess Bride, and anything that has a balance of drama and comedy.

Shows: Cosmos, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, Battlestar Galactica, Glee, Pushing Daisies, Buffy, How I Met Your Mother, and other such things.

Music: I like most. There are very few artists that are consistently good enough for me to call my favorite. Some of my loves are Amanda Palmer, Jason Webley, Tilly and the Wall, Mumford and Sons, the Beatles, Queen, Walk Off the Earth. I have a slight distaste for techno and trance, but can enjoy it from time to time. I've been into folk and marching band music lately. Orkistar Zirconium and Chaotic Noise are amazing!

Food: I am a lover of most and will try almost anything once. I am definitely an eater and enjoy cooking and baking.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Currently, student loans. Other than that: Jujitsu, Laughter, Friendship, Meditation, Physical activity, BOOKS!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How grand and mysterious life can be and how to make my place in it with those who are important to me.

How to better myself and be there for others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Studying, usually. Otherwise, volunteering for some event, performing at some event, drawing, listening to music, hanging out with friends, at a party, watching a movie, on a date, on a "date", dancing, reading, plotting...who does things consistently enough to generalize a day as diverse and prospect filled as Friday?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have a secret love of square and line dancing, but I'm not pushy about it. This does not equate to a love of country music, but I love organized dance in a large group. It's just so community based!

You hear someone say a line from a song, and then must complete the verse if not the song itself. I'm not one for getting to know someone over email, so you should also be willing to meet in person and hold a conversation.
