I'm essentially the love child of creativity and distraction, with a few odd bits thrown in to the chex mix. I love to draw, paint, write, sing, photograph and do anything but the ordinary... I am two sides of a coin, however, and being such I have an introverted front in most social situations.

But I suppose a little history would be more revealing of me... I'm the middle child of 5 kids, I was homeschooled through high school and am probably about a semester or so away from graduating with a bachelors degree in either fine arts or English. The reason that's taken so long and I'm still procrastinating finishing is because I don't believe in taking loans. So, as you can expect, I'm taking a break for a while to save up before going back. Working 2 jobs while going to school full time can only be tolerated for so long, and I'm getting old :p

Another interesting bit about me, I've moved every other year of my life for my parents jobs, and Ive been to over half the states and Canada. Moving to Austin last year was my first move alone, and I'd really like to grow roots here :) But the future is unpredictable and Colorado and Seattle have better weather :p

Whelp, that's enough narcissism for today...

Currently I'm working technical support, saving up to go back and finish school, and working on getting back into the swing of things with a few writing projects I've got going as well as many other artistic endeavors.

Cooking, massages, tree climbing, loving and taking care of the people close to me - and, I'd say art, but I'm never satisfied with the finished product. Also, I don't actually think I'm all that good at it, so I guess I'm just good at enjoying making it...

Probably my colourful hair, piercings, and the odd way I watch people when I'm assessing them... I have an odd thing about studying people I'm unfamiliar with

So far as books go, I'll read anything that can hold my attention past the second chapter, but my favorite genres tend to be fantasy, sci-fi, and anything thought provoking... I like anything by Madeline L'Engle, Tolkien, and C. S. Lewis, any comic series from the X-men universe(especially deadpool), and most slam/modern poetry.

I don't really watch much tv except on the internet... "Doctor Who" and "The IT Crowd" interest me... "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World", "Howl's Moving Castle", "Repo the Genetic Opera", and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" my current favorite movies...

When it comes to music, I'm not too picky but it has to be good quality... I like alot of 90's grunge/rock, metal, classical, etc...
I think the only music I specifically dislike is rap and country.

With food I'll try pretty much anything, I recently tried following the pesketarian diet for a few months (I like exploring lifestyles), and I really love cooking so it's hard to say. If I'm eating out and have money to throw around my habit is to go for any kind of asian or indian food or sandwhich shops that have really good bread...

Umm, everything? Mostly thinking about what to do next...
I like planning out my life, but my plans are like the frames of a house, I can rely on them in the longrun but as I go through life I can change and make new day-to-day plans while living out the moment.

I think I spend the most time thinking about a story I've been working on for a few years, and hoping that next year I'll be a more complete version of myself than I was last year.

Probably either running rampant around town, relaxing or working on creative projects at home, or with friends just hanging out...

I have trust issues, and I am a very layered person. I can talk about anything from my past openly, but as for current things, I'm a bit more guarded when speaking to people I feel unfamiliar with. If, however, I get to know you well enough to feel comfortable with you, I pretty much become an open book :)

If you like art, especially if you like making it (and this includes all forms of art such as visual art, music, writing, etc.), if you own a bookshelf and employ it for its names implied use (because being well-read is sexy), or if you just find me interesting/entertaining.
