I like to consider myself a writer, actor, director, marketing whiz and part-time bookie. I don't want to know what other people consider me... I have a fondness for words that begin with vowels (such as anaclitic, effete, insoucient, obdurate, unctuous, etcetera--though only one of these words describes me. You be the judge.) I am a bizarre amalgamation of reader, writer, athlete, actor, singer, hiker, dancer, outdoorsman, and cook and I make a damn fine martini--so at least I've got that going for me...

I am ebullient, wily, and consistently amazed

I'm currently working in arts marketing, and doing my best to find time to do theatre, write fiction and poetry and still spend time with friends. I love the feeling of busy. =)

Liking people. Keeping busy. Finding the amusing buried in the mundane. Words and things associated with them. I am a grammar Nazi. Deal. Foosball. Speling.

That I'm already laughing by the time they hear the joke.

There's very little I won't eat and enjoy. Favorite Seattle restaurants are Tamarind Tree and Kabul Afghan Cusine.

The order that words ought to go in. In which order words ought to go. Words, and what order they ought to go in. Words in general.

Performing live on stage. Or swing dancing. Or holed up in a coffee shop writing. Or hitting the bars with a throng of friends. Or on the couch watching a movie with my puppy. Or on a road trip. I'm not that fond of "typical". It gets dull.

I have two tattoos that I'm happy about and can shave my head in less than two minutes. Woot.

You should message me if you're a thorough contradiction--a living oxymoron. Perfectly tumultuous. Wildly sophisticated. If you laugh a lot and smile more. If you can play the banjo and/or surf, and can teach me to do one or both. If you know who Demosthenes was and how osmosis works, or can at least fake it convincingly. If you're a smart person who isn't afraid to look stupid (or hang out with someone who does =) You're bored at work--but what are the odds of that?
